Sad Janka Kráľa

One of, if not the best, city parks in Bratislava. A lot of greenery, flat terrain great for walks, picnics, laying down in the sun, etc. Big trees, a lot of shade and a lot of space for everyone to relax, sit and walk around.

It is truly the green lung of the city. It is really interesting, safe, there are A LOT of benches, so it is impossible not to find a place to sit here, and there are a lot of interesting areas to visit! So I absolutely recommend to have a walk here or to rest some time in one of the benches you can find!

One of the best green parks and the oldest in Europe, several concerts are planned just on the edge of the Danube river. 4 pétanque courts are available and great place for kids. You can park in the City big parking space just few meters away free of charge however pay attention to reserved spots. Or you can also park in Aupark mall during all weekends free of charge as well.

The oldest public park in Central Europe and one of the oldest central European parks. Sad Janka Kráľa was founded on the right bank of the Danube in the years 1774-76.

It's a quite big park with big fountain in the middle. There is a lot of benches and nice grass. This park is huge so don't expect anything special but if you need some time alone to read a book or just relax it's perfect.

Every season is amazing, so many colors. From June is a beach here with bars and chill zone. There is also many festivals here.

Beautiful park in the city centre. The trees are huge, in season of roses it's full of blossoms. People wisit the park for nice walk with buggy or those working in offices to have a lunch outdoor. Lot of sport activities are done here. Like me, I am giving bootcamp trainings here. There is also yoga, etc. Running is also nice here. The city organises interesting events here, like medieval festival, food festival etc.

Huge park with recently renewed public toilets and a lot of shade. If you're lucky, you'll come across an open air concert or performance while visiting.

My family enjoyed daytime, me evening time and it was magic.

Relaxing place in the nature in the middle of the city. There are some really old trees. Right next to the park is one of the most important European rivers Danube. Right next to the park is a big shopping center. The grass is well kept and cut. Above the park there is a famous UFO Bridge.
