Kalamárka

My favorite! Plants of different types of sport routes. Better to know your limits, not only physical but also psychological... They don't waste too much extra bolts. Safe to baley, but needs to use to it.

Kalamarka is full of beautiful climbing routes. The locatoon it self is AMAZING. The forest surounds the rock so you may stay all day climbing in the shade.

Perfect climbing area with different types and difficulties, suitable for amateurs and professional climber.
Only few kilometer from the center of city Detva.

The best place for climbing in Slovakia for me. There is a lot of various routes. You can choose easy route or hardcore. There are some fire places, so you can take same sausages with you.

A climbing crag with many roads and great access (you park basically 150m from the wall). Very comfortable belaying. The bolting is so so since the bolts and rather far apart on many routes: might be a good idea to bring a few cam or nuts.
Be ready for a lot of crimping.

Archeological site as well as the training walls for the rock climbing. There are two paths leading around that - one at the bottom and one on the top. Very nice place hidden a bit appart from the turistic path behhind the trees - you would not even expect something like that there.

Jedno z najkrajších miest na Podpoľaní, ktoré môžete navštíviť. Majestátne skalné útesy, ktoré milujú lezci, ale aj turisti, lebo si viete spraviť vychádzku popod ne a kochať sa prírodou a výhľadmi. Na čo chcem upozorniť vedie tam zlá, neudržiavaná panelová cesta, tak môžete zaparkovať buď nižšie na prvom parkovisku, ale hore je to ešte asi jeden a pol kilometra kopcom (tak sa pekne spotíte kým vyjdete hore), alebo sa môžete vyviezť opatrne autom priamo na Kalamárku, kde tiež parkuje veľa ľudí a skôr si to pochodiť tam. Je to chatová oblasť, takže parkovať sa dá aj tam. Ja sa sem vždy rád vraciam a užívam si tú atmosféru, takže ak budete na okolí Detvy môžete dať tomu šancu.

Velmi pekne misto s dobrou dostupnosti. Parkovani kousicek od skal. Tam jsou dva okruhy. Horni po skalach a dolni okolo skal. Kdyz uz tam budete, cca 1,7 km od Kalamarky je Boriakova skala s nadhernou vyhlidkou. Po ceste zpet do Detvy moznost mrknout na detvanske krize u kalvarie nad hrbitovem.

Nádherná lezecká oblast v CHKO Velká Polana. Bez problému se zde dá tábořit se stany nebo obytnými vozy.
