On a cold raining day, we were saved by this the cosy restaurant!
Delicious local comfort food!!! The Dessert was amazing! Wish we could try everything else.

Delicious! We had the sauerkraut soup and Sheep cheese Dumplings which were great. However, the Apple Strudel may be the best we ever had!! Cannot recommend it enough.

Surprisingly simple food at its best!
Traditional kitchen with daily special soups made in a big pot over fire outside. We tried 4 different meals and all were awesome. See some pictures below.

A really charming place with very delicious food. We tried the local specialties - Liptov offal and potato pancakes with sheep cheese, bacon and dill, . They were fantastic. Truly recommend!

A very charming cafe with local cakes. I tried Poppyseed strudle, it was very nice. Excellent service by the waiters

Wow, delicious food! One of the best dishes we had in Slovakia- and we had a lot :) . We ordered potato pancakes with sheep’s cheese, fried traditional cheese and sweet ‚buchty’ with poppy seeds- all exceeded our expectations. Not cheap, but worth the price. Recomended!

Lovely place, really good food that was served quickly. Tea was served with honey, all meals come with themed plates, bowls, mugs.. Food and drinks are very cheap. There are a few tables inside, as well as some benches outside. Despite the location, this is actually a really sleek modern pub. It's a nice cozy place to have a rest in Vlkolínec. I recommend for everyone to come and try some of the local meals.

We 'just' ate some sweet, domicky buchty. World buchty so similar to Hungarian bukta, so we surprised when received three steam dumplings as a portion. It was huge, tasty, filled with jam, and poppy on it.

2022 july - after a rainy hiking we are here again with a small company. Service was excellent and buchty huge and extremly tasty. Became favourite place.

Amazing food!!! Weve tried the potato dumplings with bryndza and it was amazing!!! The service is also very good. Would recommend :)
