Everybody has his own story, I see the reviews are different. My experience was too fabulous I hardly still believe that it was true. I had attentive doctors and nurses, all of them were kind and sympathetic and understanding. My doctor mudr. Horobets who led my pregnancy and did the surgery - 10 stars out of 5! the anesthesiologist was very professional (pity I don’t know her name) and the room doctors and the principals, everybody I met in gynecological and newborn ward were highly professional, smiling and nice.
The hospital itself is really a sanatorium with tasty food, satin sheets, comfortable beds, outstanding view from the window, clean fresh rooms and quietness. If not the two surgeries I had there in a row (cesarean and another minor one), I could say it was my vacation.
I am endlessly grateful for all the care these people took of me. They welcomed my baby, they helped me with my old problem i had for long time they saved me from fear and worries I was full of before labour.
Can there be anything to improve? Yes, of course. I didn’t like the fact that the visitors come in the rooms without protection on their shoes, and the patients are often barefooted. Also I didn’t like the waiting time during the pregnancy visites. But I definitely would recommend this hospital and especially mudr. Myroslava Horobets whom I thank for my baby!

First of all, my experience of giving birth here was so good that I'm ready to go for the second one straight away 😄
Dr Myroslava Horobets is an absolutely incredible professional! During the pregnancy, she always answered every single question that we had, even the stupidest ones 😅, and explained everything in a simple but professional manner.
During labour, she explained every single step and every move that she was doing.
Even though we ended up with an emergency C-section, both me and my partner, have the best memories of the whole process. She was really fighting for the natural birth, but when it became too dangerous, we went for the surgery and our son was delivered absolutely and perfectly healthy ❤

We had a partnership delivery, so our daddy was with us the whole process. A small hint: give your partner something to do during the labour, so they would not feel that much useless while you are busy with the main job 😁 partner can wave at you to give you more air or clean your forehead with the wet tissue etc.

The whole team of postpartum nurses was great as well. They will push you to recover in a great way with some jokes and pep talks if needed — something like a cool but very disciplined coach 😁

The rooms are very nice and clean. You feel like in a very sterile 5* resort. Where they also feed you with huge portions 3 times per day.
Cleaners are very funny and always made some jokes to me

The whole team communicated in the nicest manner, showed me how to do things even though my Slovak is very broken

Would like to express my gratitude to Koch Sanatorium in general for superb service and excellent atmosphere. Dr. Myroslava Horobets and her team deserves a special thanks and a place in our hearts forever. She is not only a top professional that anyone can rely on to get the best treatment and advise, but also a very nice and caring person, who is a delight to talk to about pregnancy and birth related and unrelated topics. We were lucky ones that had pleasure being her and her team's patients. It seems like she surrounds herself with likeminded colleagues and such an intimate and special but sometimes quite nervous experience like giving birth becomes a relaxing ride.
Would definitely recommend to consider Dr. Myroslava Horobets as a doctor and Koch as a clinic of choice.

I want to share my experience with giving birth in Koch. I was really happy to follow my pregnancy and give birth with Dr. Myroslava Horobets, everything was super professional and I would definitely repeat this experience with the second baby.
Also I am grateful to all the team of doctors and nurses who were there with me while giving birth and after that. I didn’t even notice to the full extent how complicated the process was for me, as everyone there was so supportive.
Most people working there are like real angels.
To be honest, there were a couple of moments I was not that happy with, like 1 shift of post natal nurses, to be exact 1person who refused to sterilise baby’s bottle and 1 shift of cleaning ladies, who were always irritated and on the last day told me like nobody wants to take me home, just because husband was coming after lunch time.
I will not give lower than 5 points anyway, as the most people there are really nice.

I want to share my experience of childbirth in the Koch sanatorium. I really liked the clinic, very competent doctors for children and adults, an experienced ultrasound doctor. I gave birth with Dr. Miroslava Gorobets, the doctor is very professional, attentive and responsible. I had a c-section in past births, this time I was also determined to a c-section. But the doctor assured me that everything would be ok. And thanks to her professionalism and the right approach, my birth was natural and everything went perfectly and quickly, we had a healthy girl. If next time to give birth, then only with her! Thank you very much Miroslava!

My wife gave a birth here, almost everything was good and well managed. Nurses are very friendly and helpful in the first few days after the baby is born. It is super clean and they provide everything you would need.

I'm very satisfied with my Doctor Myroslava Horobets, her attention, attitude and explanations. I started visiting the clinic on 25th week of pregnancy, now moving closer to 40th week.

The only thing - the clinic/doctor is full of patients, last 3 times I had to wait between 1,5 to 2 hours for my appointment (I was on time to the clinic but still had to wait for long time).

A great team effort by all the staff involved in the delivery of my healthy baby boy and the care of my wife.

The Doctors, nurses, midwifes, aneathetist were all extremely professional and at the same time.maintained a level warmth care and compassion.

We paid extra to have Dr Sebikova deliver our son which was money well spent. She has years of experience and was cool, calm.and patient throughout. She also speaks English which was very useful for me as my Slovak is limited.

Highly recommend! Thanks to the doctors' quick reaction with my emergency c-section, me and my baby girl are now alive and getting better. The nurses also took great care of me after the surgery - constantly monitoring me and quick to react if help was needed with something.
I would like to especially thank MUDr. Cupaník, MUDr. Švedová, MUDr. Mornárová and the rest of the team in the operating room.

Píšem z účtu svojho muža 🤣
Konečne som sa dostala k tomu po 8mesiacoch. Takže za mňa najlepšie čo som si mohla vybrať. Keďže som mala zdravotné problémy museli mi spraviť súrne sekciu, predtým som tam už ležala asi 3 dni, všetci boli úplne super, vybavili mi aj prevoz na kontrolu a konzultáciu na Antolskú na urológiu. Čiže za mňa vôbec neplatí, že keď má niekto komplikácie tak sa ho zbavujú. Strava úplne super, fakt som si so sebou nemusela vziať nič okrem svojich hygienických (sampón, kefka atd) ale mali tam aj sprchový, zupan, uteráky, tampóny na tvár, vlozky, fén ..pre dieta krémik na zapereniny, vlhcené, plienky, oblecenie..este aj monitor dychu… Vsetci lekári ktorých som stretla boli super, starší, mladší.. pýtala som si deň pred pôrodom niečo na spanie aj v tom mi vyhoveli. Ja som mala zazmluvnenú dr. Šebíkovú a ona mi aj robila sekciu, ktorá mimochodom s pichnutím spinálu trvala prisahám maximálne 20 minút. Prišla som na sálu hneď že si mám sadnúť a už pichala ani som si neuvedomila a už som si mala lahnúť to celé trvalo asi minutu maximálne, vpich nebolel ale cítila som ako mi tam ide tá látka. Šitie krásne už ledva vidieť. Všetci aj anesteziologička, sestričky, upratovačky, detské lekárky boli fajn a zbytočne nemudrovali keď netrebalo. Chodila aj laktačná poradkyňa automaticky keď bol problém, našťastie ja som nepotrebovala. Strava úplná pecka veľmi chutné, 5krát denne a môžete si vybrať z viacerých druhov jedál. No a apartmán to je fakt zážitok a nelutujem ani jedno jediné euro. Úplne ako na dovolenke. Predtým som rodila v DS a nedá sa to porovnať. Takže za mňa KOcH 10bodov z 10. Ak by niekto chcel niečo extra sa opýtať kludne v SS.

V porodinci sa mi narodili dve bábätká, obe skúsenosti sú pre mňa veľmi pozitívne. Od najlepšej a najematickejšej pani doktory Šebíkovej s jej sestričkami až po všetok personál ako gynekologický tak i novorodenecký. Všade bolo veľmi čisto, všetci boli milí, všetko majú zorganizované, každý presne vie čo má robiť, jedlo je super, nič si netreba nosiť všetko je k dispozícii 24hod. ako pre bábo tak i pre ženy. Na porodnicu budem spomínať celý život, pretože ten zážitok bol krásny. Ďakujem, ste profíci ❤

Від усього серця хотілося б подякувати санаторію Кох, а особливо лікарю Мирославі Горобець, з якою я народжувала. Це були мої перші пологи, дуже за все хвилювалася, тому при виборі лікаря для мене важливими були, як професійні, так і людські якості. Дуже рада, що обрала саме лікаря Мирославу Горобець, яка є професіоналом свого діла, дійсно лікарем за покликанням. Вона завжди відповідала на всі питання, нічого зайвого не призначала, заспокоювала, підтримувала, з турботою і небайдужістю ставилася до мене, була завжди позитивно налаштована і заряджала своїм позитивом мене.
Що стосується санаторія Кох - комфортні умови, смачна їжа, весь персонал професіонали свого діла. Весь час перебування в пологовому я відчувала, що про мене і дитину турбуються, а це позбавило мене від зайвих хвилювань.
