I havent been here for a very long time, but havent forgotten how the "halušky" tasted.. decided to stop here ... great choice!

Big portions, very tasty, reasonable prices, super nice staff, quick serving, clean restrooms, nice music and very cosy feeling even on a rainy day - the fireplace made a difference.

We stopped at this restaurant a couple times over the years and it has always been a pleasure. Great food and great atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you are traveling on the highway and need a stop ;).

It's a great place for lunch! It's in a very picturesque location with stunning views. It's always pretty crowded. We were lucky enough to find a free table for ourselves, and a little later we offered to share it with a family with a child, since there were no other seats available anymore. The couple were very intelligent and we had a pleasant conversation over dinner.

I would like to note a few important things.

First, despite the really very large number of visitors, both outside and inside (there were no empty tables!), the service was very quick, polite and of high quality. The girls managed to come up several times, bring everything on time and nothing was mixed up. Thank you very much for such quality service.

Secondly, the quality of the food was just top notch! We ordered cabbage soup, lamb perkelt and chicken with mushrooms. Everything was just delicious! We are very glad that we found a place with such terrific food and will be happy to dine here again if possible.

The place is very family and pet friendly, as there is a small playground for small children and you can always ask for special water bowls for your four-legged family members.

And last but not least, everything was very nice and clean, including the restrooms. This is important considering the fact that the place is right next to the track and just a very high footfall of visitors.

So I sincerely recommend visiting this place if you want to have a good meal in an authentic place with incredibly beautiful views.

Such a lovely birthday dinner! All staff were very helpful, prepared a beautiful table and the food was amazing with very large portions too. We had a 3 course meal and every bite was delicious. Menus were also available in English (although place and food is authentic local cuisine). We really enjoyed the evening there!

Koliba is a typical style of Slovak restaurants by the highway. They offer traditional cuisines and usually you can stay there as well!
I absolutely loved my potato dumpling, which is made with sheep cheese and pork fat; it is one of the most traditional cuisines from Slovakia and with driving out to this place to try it out.
The prices are very reasonable as well.

Good and cozy koliba. Good food and service. Recommend sitting outside if weather is good. Enough space for parking.

Great spot. Tasty food and great service

Place is quite bussy, so finding place can take some time in peak hours. Definetly worht the stop who likes "halusky" and is looking for food on speedway R1. If you want schnitzel or pizza go somewhere else.

The best in the area! Great traditional food and good portion size. The outdoor space has a fantastic view and there is a dedicated children's area.

Beautiful log structure, cozy environment, good service and great food. Enough space for parking. We have visited many times with a family and left satisfied every time.
