Lovely cafe! Plenty of drinks to choose from: various coffees, fresh lemonades, cocktails, mocktails and more! They also have a selection of cakes on offer as well as 10+ flavours of ice cream. To top it off, staff are welcoming and attentive. Would highly recommend visiting!

Perfect coffee, coffe latte and delicious hot chocolate will be served here by exceptional kind staff.
The prices are fair, the ambiente is very warm and family friendly.

Very interesting place to visit. Full of little detail and history. Special ambient and huge variety of coffee preparation. Also, great coffee and cakes.
When you are with kids you can play some family and card games that are there to use for free.

Beautiful spot. Delicious flat white and apple and passion fruit lemonade - highly recommend!

Fantastic place for a break. We ordered hot chocolates and bombardino. I highly recommend to visit, very atmospheric.

Beautiful and cozy cafe in historical building in Spišská Sobota. Specialty coffee and delicious cakes. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. This cafe is worth a visit.

The “Must Go” when in Spisska Sobota!! Open daily from 10:00-22:00 offering the best coffee in town. Staff is willing to answer all your questions about the coffee while being super nice and professional! Also try their cocktails! Definitely recommended ❤!

A gem of Poprad when it comes to coffee, deserts and spirits.

Food and drinks: Reasonably priced specialty coffee drinks including some which are not always found in other coffee shops. A little pricey deserts which on the other hand definitely stand the price with their fresh and delicious tastes. A big variety of spirits and beer.

Staff: We went to this coffee shop at least 6 times during our stay in Poprad and every time we were met with big smiles, caring service and good vibe from the baristas. They are surely experts in their field as the coffee was always well made with the equipment which is well kept and maintained.

Atmosphere: The atmosphere is rather unique for such place, especially nowadays when coffee shops try to be very modern and fancy looking. Espresso Bar PP, however, has this authentic (I’d guess early 20th century) vibe with their rustic tables and lighting. The building itself is very unique in itself as it is part of a historical area. They also have a nice terrace, which is jointly shared with a neighbouring ice cream business. Check that ice cream shop too - it is best in town.. heck in Slovakia if not Europe.

Events: the place hosts various cultural events as well as coffee tastings. We did not get a chance to participate in one due to busy schedule, but worth trying out.

Conclusion: this coffee shop made our holiday much better and we kept coming back. It is definitely a gust of fresh air in mountain destinations which we value and appreciate a lot!

What could be better: I saw some people coming with their bikes and not having a good and safe place to park them. I suggest getting a good and sturdy U shape bar to lock the frame of the bike. These look nice and are better for the bike than wheel holsters.

In this modern day, establishments like the Espresso Bar, are truly a gem. However, more importantly is why is this establishment so good. Well let me show you a little insite. I came across the Espresso Bar in the evening, as I am a solo traveler. I speak very little Slovak, I step through the door and I am met with warm smiles and a Slovak greeting, I say dobra.....ah you speak English, welcome and please sit wherever you like.

This establishment was started by two brothers who had a dream and made it a reality. Their determination can be seen in their pastries and coffee quality.

A hidden gem, with a beautiful story.

Delicious coffee, very nice stuff and such a charming place.

Finally a third wave café in this place. We were greeted with lovely smell of the coffee and smiling personel. The menu is apparently put together by knowledgeable people, which is most apparent in the mixed drinks section - great combinations of quality ingredients. Wife had a really tasty raspberry drink.
The coffee was very nice and we also appreciate that there is a kid's corner.
There was no cake on Sunday afternoon - a good sign, it means cakes are fresh and sell out quickly.
I had a chat with the friendly barista about coffee.
Overall highly recommended.
