Cottage in beautiful surroundings. A very good starting point for hikes to various peaks. The tour to the cottage is very simple, it takes about 2 hours. It is about 8 km from the "Biela Voda" parking lot. It is usually always full. I recommend leaving early. The food at the cottage is very tasty, I recommend "hot raspberries" as a dessert.👍. Really recommend!❤

I can only rate the restaurant part , as I have not stayed here. There is a large enough seating area and if there is no room inside, there are benches with tables outside. Beautiful view of the lake. The choice of food is really great, especially Slovak classics. We had soups and steamed buns with poppy seeds, the portions were huge and we could hardly eat it. We liked everything very much. We also had a beer.

A beautiful place in the High Tatras. Enjoy it with your family or if you go alone on your favorite trail to Jahnací štít. selection of hot drinks and meals.

We have not sleep over, only stopped on our way from Velka Svistovka and it was a very pleasant place. The restaurant works very efficiently: you order and pay by one window and get your food and drinks within few seconds in another window. The food was tasty and the ‘parena buchta’ was definitely the biggest one I have ever seen.

A great stop in a lovely mountain hut for the start or end of a hike across the high Tatras. There is a very warm and friendly common area with a large fire place that was lit. Plenty of drying facilities which is a great bonus. The room for two are basic as expected but very warm. Staff where very obliging with a last minute vegetarian request which was far superior to my main dish which a piece of meet in tomato sauce (this the 4 star rating). Breakfast however was superb and plentiful. Staff were very warm helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay again.

Amazing place! 100% worth to go there! The walk to the end point is also interesting, it leads along the river and there are also beautiful views along the way! At the end, you can drink a cold beer and enjoy a delicious meal! I recommend visiting this place, you won't regret it!

We have not any clue that we will find this place at the end of the hike Zeleno Pleso, so it was a surprise for us! As I understood you can book a night to spent there, but have in mind that you will have to go there on foot for ~3 hours one direction. The weather was amazing, many people of course, the restaurant was almost full. We had a bear and an amazing Tatras tea. The prices are VERY reasonable and low (3€ for beer and 3€ for tea) as they can charge 10€ for each and everybody will still pay it because there are no one else. But they are not monopolist :))

The Green Mountain-lake Valley)
Thanks to the chalet at the Green Mountain-lake (board and lodging), easy access for tourists and also thanks to impressive panorama of peaks and valleys in the surroundings, this valley is maybe the most visited in the High Tatras. You will be impressed by the 900 m high northern side of the Malý Kežmarský štít (Small Kežmarský Peak)- (in photo in the clouds on the left), or the slender peak Jastrabia veža (Hawk Tower) - (in photo on the right)
The history of the valley is full of stories about treasure seekers, miners and interesting tourist events (the very first documented visit of the valley was in 1565).

Located next to the green lake, an amazing place to stay the night if you are through your hike. The price for one night with breakfast and dinner was around 30 Euros. The rooms are OK and are common for around 12 people in one room. The place was clean and the staff is generally nice.

Beautiful place! If you want to go on a trip you should come here! After 3 hours of walking you can eat in a traditional hiking restaurant. It is placed in a beautiful cottage with a beautiful view on the ,,green” lake. You will love it. Take your time and go on a trip to Chata pri Zelenom plese.

Just beautiful. A must see. Especially if you know only the polish side of Tatra Mountains. It's complete different on the Slovakian side. More epic I would say.

Very nice place to stay in Tatras. Nice view all-around. Rooms to sleep, big restaurant to eat and drink. Shower and WC are good. There is charging station for mobile phones. Almost perfect, but no Wi-Fi and mobile coverage is poor.

A great place to get a fast recharge by their tasteful cuisine. If you want, you can get some basic accomodation too. For a one day trip, this is a superb shelter to keep you going.

Wide choice of tasty food and drinks. Beautiful view from the dinning room (must see!). Nice personnel. Often full of people so booking of bed in advance is recommended.
Sometimes, especially during the weekends, may nights be loud.

Amazing place, however we came when there were too many people. Wait time in the row was around 30 minutes. Food was delicious and we are looking forward for our next visit.

Incredible place! In The Valley with huge mountains around and lake in the middle, few waterfalls. Good kitchen, prices are comfortable, very friendly stuff.
Dinner at 7 pm, breakfast 6:30-8:30 am.
Leaving time 9 am
Needs reservation before, but even if you didn’t make it they will provide the mattress in the dormitory and you will need a sleeping bag.
Few showers with hot water, electricity.

Highly recommended! Will definitely come back again!

Beautiful setting on a lake, in a valley surrounded by the high Tataras. Rooms were spotless and cozy, with 2 bunk beds in each room. Excellent food and friendly staff. Hot showers and clean bathrooms. Can't ask for more after a hard day's hiking.

Awesome place, with beautiful views. We stopped only for food, Gulash soup, parena buchta were very tasty! Just the queue to get food was so long - we waited for 20-30 minutes.
