Národná zoologická záhrada Bojnice

Awesome zoo, they have got plenty of animals that I have never ever seen before ranging from birds that almost look like dinasaurs to birds from the angry birds game, fish from Finding Nemo, various turtle-fish hybrids. You can also see apes trying to use tools here and I was finally able to see a wild wolf here. Very much worth a visit!

Quite big zoo, very close to Bojnice Castle. The entrance fee is 10 euro. You are to be ready to long walk. It is very interesting for child and adults

This zoo is specific for caring of the elephants. They have changed their area. Elephants have more space and they are also further from the people than 3 years ago. We enjoyed the fight of the bears, red panda, orangutans or guarezies and many others. Also children had fun with goats and enjoyed time at the eating and relaxing area at jumping tiger or some other kid stuff. Do not miss this zoo!

A wonderful place to spend time for children and adults. Animals are clean, fed and taken care of well. A very big collection of birds, nice wild cats, bears, camels, funny monkeys and charming elephants. On Monday noon there were few families walking around. We enjoyed it immensely.

I visit this place every year in summer. I live far away from this place but when I have chance to visit I will always go there . Big place you walk for hours there . A lot of animals I didn’t do much pictures but absolutely in love with this place it will stay forever in my heart . So special for me .

The zoo is very nice specialy for family with kids. It is very big and it has a lot of interesting animals. You can spent 4 to 5 hours there even more. There is a food corner as well.

Next to Bojnice Zoo you can spend a great day visiting both places making a break to have a (very cheap) snack or have meal in the way to the entrance!

Been there for millions times since my childhood :) possible to pay by card at the entrance,but still, it’s better to have cash in your wallet for another shopping in the zoo. There’s very low possibility to order something healthy within the zoo area,mostly fast food is being offered.
There are many parking lots near to the zoo available,but you can pay in cash only,no possibility of paying by card.

The most pretty and biggest zoo I've seen in the area of the V4 so far. I love that the animals are not cramped, and most of the time they have a place to hide when they don't want to be disturbed by people.

This is one of the best zoos I have seen in Slovak Republic. They have over 540 species and 2400 animals in this zoo. Zoo is well organized and kept children safe and friendly. It is must see while you are visiting Bojnice Castle.

Lovely nice place

Loved it as a kid. Love it now. For me it's best Zoo in Slovakia. Big minus is parking, which isn't done well. But zoo itself is awesome. Many types of animals. Also the kid zoo, where you can feed goat and like so.
