U Janusa

Stopped here with my daughter during long distance hiking trip. Tired and exhausted pilgrims fully relaxed during night in superb room, being fed by regional cuisine. Nice environment, guest oriented touch in a little family hotel. Friendly staff. Historic building in a downtown.

Family-run accomodation in central location. Very kind owners. We stayed here for our week-long volunteering service. Despite the initial mess-up made by our organization, the Janus family was able to arrange accommodation for us last minute. We stayed two nights in the Suite and two nights in the comfort room. Both were clean and comfy, although the Suite was stylish, furnished with antiques and very spacious. 10/10 definitely will return.

Great place to stay!
Beautiful atmospheric environment. Rooms are clean food is homemade and delicious. Owners are very kind and willing to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. Overall experience is very good. For sure we will come back here again. Thank you Janus!

Recommended by the Lonely Planet guidebook we visited the restaurant for dinner. It was already quite late and the restaurant seemed dark and closed, but the family was still sitting there and warmly welcomed us to have dinner there. The homemade food was delicious, especially the chocolate "cake of the day" we got for dessert. The menu included some pictures of their specialties to make the communication a bit easier.

Very typical Slovakian food. All the dishes were so good and the price is cheap. The girl that served us was very polite and nice.

Staff was really helpful and kind. There was a wide variety of foods, including traditional foods. Also the food was really delicious and tasty. It is a quite small place, but it's not a problem for a 4-6 people (I guess they can manage bigger groups too).

Ubytovanie bolo zarezervované na víkend pre svadobných hostí, všetci boli nadšení a nešetrili chválou. Izby dýchajú dobovou atmosférou a všade je čisto. Na raňajky si hostia mohli vybrať z niekoľkých jedál a nebol problém ani s intoleranciou. Majitelia sú veľmi milí a príjemní a komunikácia bola na výbornej úrovni, vo všetkom nám vyšli v ústrety. Bonusom je výborná lokalita v centre mesta a parkovanie priamo pred vchodom. Ďakujeme za spríjemnenie svadobného víkendu a dávame 5 hviezdičiek ! :)

Krasna stylova izba, skvela poloha v centre mesta len par krokov od znameho kostola, kde sa nachadza oltar majstra Pavla z Levoce a ranajky pestre a chutne. Rodinny pristup majitelov, urcite navstivime znovu, ked budeme mat cestu na vychod.

Czysto, piękne zabytkowe wnętrza, mili gospodarze. Świetna lokalizacja w centrum miasta, polecam.

Krásne zrekonštruovaný penzión u Janusa, výborná lokalita, čisto, moderne, útulne. Vrelo doporučujeme. Majitelia veľmi ústretoví, pripravili nám výborne raňajky. Ďakujeme, radi sa znova vrátime.

Pekné a čisté izby a kľudné miesto na oddych po spoznávaní nádhernej Levoče a iných okolitých zaujímavostí,napr.Mariánska hora či Spišský hrad.Môj tip je kláštor Minoritov a v ňom nádherný Čierny kostol.
Z výborných jedál v hoteli odporúčam úžasné spišské pirohy s klobásou.
Skvelá voľba ubytovania pri návšteve Levoče.👍👍👍🙂

V krásnej a starobylej Levoči určite odporúčam na ubytovanie skvelý penzión U Janusa. Krásne zrekonštruovaný historický dom na Kláštorskej ulici so skvelými ubytovacími a stravovacími službami. Milí a veľmi ochotní majitelia urobia pre hostí maximum. Veľká vďaka za krásny pobyt v auguste 2023 a teším sa na budúce...
