Vila Strážan

We rented the whole house directly from the owners for 2 couples and a family with four children. Considering the price, it was a great find.
It's a 2-story building with a basement. On the ground floor is one apartment, fully equipped kitchen and dining area and two toilets. On the top floor is the second apartment with its bathroom and 2 rooms and their bathroom with toilet opening from a hallway. There is a big fridge and freezer in the kitchen and small fridges in each room / apt.
The house is decorated with old ski and winter hiking equipment and sport certificates from the CSSR. It also has an sizeable, multilingual library of the Tatras, the National Park and various other topics.
My guess is that the house was built around the 70s and has been renovated a few years ago. The bathrooms in particular were redone very nicely.
The beds were not the most comfortable I have ever seen (mattresses a little thin), but good enough after an active day in nature. Consider the price paid when setting expectations.
The staircase is somewhat precarious for young kids to manage and some of the decorations might be misused by them, so I wouldn't recommend for children under 4-5 yrs, but otherwise it's a great place.
The owner is very helpful and communicative.
The customary cash security deposit was returned to us at the end of our stay without any issues.

The room was huge and the neighbourhood is really quiet. Had everything I needed in the room. And a lot of storage space for my stuff

Príjemné ubytovanie v tichej lokalite, izba útulná a čistučká. Majiteľ veľmi ochotný a milý. Určite odporúčam a veľmi rada sa tam opäť vrátim ak budem chcieť ubytko v Poprade 🙂

S ubytovanim sme boli velmi spokojny:) Ticha lokalita akurat trosku dalej aj od centra(ale niektore taxiky tam premavaju za 1,8) ale zase je to takych 15min od aquacity Poprad. Izba je vybavena kuchynkou s prislusenstvom a tiez kupelnou priamo na izbe.

Velmi utulne a ciate ubytovanie, k dispozicii maju majitelia dva apartmany s kuchynkou a kupelnou, a dve trojlozkove izby, parkovanie na vlastnom pozemku, v tichej lokalite, odporucam!
