It’s a restaurant with a medieval concept containing lots of “torture” decorations :) People writing about a rude service are wrong because it’s also a part of this concept. We came around 2pm and didn’t have any reservation but fortunately the place wasn’t busy yet so we got a table easily. Also I need to mention about the portion size: we got one meal which was enough for 2 people. It was roasted duck with some garnish. And it was amazing 😻 Btw you are supposed to be eating with your hands. I can definitely recommend this place (especially I got surprised with their decent prices).

An excellence experience of a typical medieval restorant. Awesome atmosphere if you have a tollerant character! Totally recommanded!

The food was delicious.
They are a bit special people, but very funny. The only problem was that we didn't have a reservation, but we got a place for the evening.

I was sceptic but food was delicious. Dont forget make your reservation!! Because they are strict in this. Most of bad reviews are because of this. Stuff is funny and ready for your jokes, but they will strike back harder. Kindly rude, you need to come with open mind, good mood and really hungry. For complete experience you need to visit toilets.

Exceeded my expectations over the roof. Was funny even if I don't speak fluent Hungarian. Food portion was enormous and very delicious. Will be coming back for sure!

Funny staff. The beer was not the best one. You definitely need to try the magic sausage and pálinka. The food was also good enough.

Wish we spoke Slovakian so we got all the obvious rude jokes flying around here. This place was hilarious if you are looking for cheesy over the top theatrics. Medieval style tavern with bar wenches and people throwing napkins at you and locking patrons in torture cages etc. expect the worlds most annoying fife/lute music in the background and get ready to get down and dirty with a plate full of meat and no utensils. Bring cash! No cards accepted. EUROS

Brilliant place, good food. This is village styled, and by purpose they speak village simple way, some people perceive rude. Buts it’s not the point. Superb, unique, you won’t get fork. Instead I got this :)

Its a special place. Staff speaks more languages, food is not cheep but excellent.

Amazing atmosphere. Be prepared for not the usual restaurant environment but rather for a place where the time is ticking in the past. The design was inspired by many torture chambers. A place to visit is a must. Well done guys

A very good place for a medieval-themed restaurant. Offers brilliant large portion with a 'traditional' way of enjoying it at an acceptable price point.

We visited with a small group for a late Saturday lunch. Reservation is needed to get seated, otherwise you are turned away. The decoration is overdone, especially the skeletons seem to be out of place but the intention is clear. Service is the main selling point of this place and you get what you expect, the staff is intentionally rude with you in a funny way. We liked the food a lot although they could use a bit less parsley. Everything we chose from the menu was great. The portions are so big it’s literally a waste. For drinks, I recommend the Bazant ‘72. Definitely would return!

The food is better than I expected, really tasty and various stuff on the side (i had ribs). Portions are enormous.

Like others said, you have to be open minded for jokes that would not be considered PC in todays overly sensitive times.

This is a theme restaurant. The stuff is rude there but friendly. It's rude because you're back in the middle ages. It's as authentic as it can be. And that's great. It's fun. And the food is excellent. I cannot recommend it more. But you have to understand the language (Slovak or Hungarian) to really enjoy the atmosphere.

The food was amazing. The atmosphere was interesting. Our server spoke English and helped us order a taxi. I would come again. You got twice as much food at half the cost of other restaurants and the quality is great.
