Shawatee AlKhaleej Restaurant

I recently visited Shawatee AlKhaleej Restaurant in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. I had heard good things about the restaurant, so I was excited to try it out. I ordered the chicken shawarma and the bokhari rice, and both dishes were delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the rice was flavorful and fluffy. The service was also excellent, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Overall, I had a great experience at Shawatee AlKhaleej Restaurant and would definitely recommend it to others.

Shawaya Al Khaleej, the name for Shawaya in Khobar city it’s located 10th street Shimaliya.
The best shawaya in town.
I enjoyed lot of times having lunch one ruba (quarter) is enough for one guy.
You never regret have lunch and dinner.
Done in and take away as well.

The best thing in this place is the taste of the original rice with the grilled chicken 🐔 😋

I place this restaurant as a hidden GEM in Saudi Arabia.

It is one of the best places to serve Bukhari Rice and rotisserie chicken in the world.

It requires a special hunger to really enjoy the meal. Also do not drive or operate heavy machines after the meal😂.

Adequately priced but they use a good quality chicken and cooking ingredients.

I know this restaurant for the past 30 years.

Must try in your life time.

If you are looking for a restaurant that serve testy traditional food, affordable, fast service and fulfilling then this is the right place.
Their menu is basic, they serve only rostered chickens with either white or red rice (you could ask the rice to be mix of two).
The price of 1 whole chicken with rice is around 29 SR only, which I s enough for 2 hungry adult or 3 moderate.

Service are excellent. and they have a good shawaya and kunafa.

It's cheap and cheap, but the quality is very good. It tastes good and I'm satisfied with both nutrition, horse and price with traditional Arab meals. I'd like to go again.

If you've lived in the Eastern region long enough then you know that this place is a land mark! Whenever you come to khobar you must pay them a visit. Their chicken shawwaya and rice is one of the best in the region if not the best period! And their prices are affordable. You must try them.

A well known restaurant serving the best rice and rotisserie chicken in Eastern Province for the last 30+ years.

This place is very simple and hasn't changed much over the years. Chicken always the same moist and flavorful. The rice portion is overwhelming and can feed multiple people per order.

Just remember to get napkins or wet wipes because it will be messy and delicious.

This restaurant is my best place for eating rice with chicken since 1996 when i was a KFUPM student. It is inexpensive and very good quality. I have trained my son to visit this restaurant 😃 and share with him my memories when i was student with my colleagues 👍🏼

Consistency. I've been having the bukhari rice and rotisserie chicken from them since childhood. Always been consistent with their recipe.

By far the best Shawaya in the world. It's so tasty, so fulfilling - literally and figuratively -, and so mesmerizing. So many years, so much competition but it remains by far my favorite Shawaya restaurant ever.

If you are looking for good 🍚 and chicken 🍗 this the right place to go to. Very local place. The Setting is not glamorous actually very down to earth. I recommend to ask for extra cooked chicken to get the best flavor.

Had a nostalgic moment when ate from this place used eat from it when I was a kid but for reason I stopped, when I came back I realized I was missing out really good to eat from chicken and rice
