Excellent place to visit and see the historical development (timelines) of KAUST.

A landmark erected to honour the spot that the late King Abdullah stood when he designated the area where KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology) was to be built. The monument is shaped like an eye from ariel view.
The park around the monument is lovely. It has sea breeze and, an open field, playground and an amphitheater. Private parties can be held at this venue.
On Saturdays, there is a shuttle service that goes there and there are bouncy castles, an ice cream van and activities for children.

The aerial view is like an iris. The pupil shaped monument is so nice with a mild music on.

A beautiful place with relaxing sounds around.

Very calm and serene. The wind is amazing. A very breezy place and good for spending time with Family and playing outdoor sports like kite flying as well. Music in the background is also good. It is a well protected and well maintained area. Amazing all in all. We can also view and feed fishes here which is awesome no fishing though. The fishes swimming peacefully in the Watters has a calming effect.

The place is nice. There are many friendly cats out there. There is a peer where you can see some fish too.

Good place for famy picnics

Great place for recreation and resting. The breeze and sound of the waves of the Red Sea helps to refresh. One of the must visit places. You can reach here by the Ondemand buses or by vehicle. There are also car parking lots.

Very nice place. A good distance away from campus to bike to, take a nice break, and then bike back to campus. Parking spaces and kids playgrounds available. A nice place for a family get-together.

Monument at KAUST is a very pleasant park. Right on the Red Sea. A favorite place for kids and adults alike to watch school of fish swim around. An excellent spot to watch a sunset.
