Bay La Sun Hotel & Marina ( KAEC )

Restaurant staff are amazing! thank you Mahmoud for your professionalism and friendliness. Dinner buffet is varied and the dessert collection was great. The room was cosy (#505), the bed mattress is comfortable, and toilet interior is pleasant. Definitely will visit the hotel again.

The hotel is very clean, the room was quite big, the smell was amazing, the bed very comfortable and the price very affordable. The staff very nice as usual with Saudi people! I recommend you to eat at steakhouse restaurant and take a wegyu beef steak! If I visit again this area, for sure I’ll go again to bay la sun.

Good hotel. Bay La Sun Hotel & Marina (King Abdullah Economic City) is gtest for couples, families, as well as children. Its one houf drive from King SbdulAziz international airport. It has an outdoor seimming pool as well as beautoful sandy brach.

Expensive but nice buffet. Waiters were exceptionally attentive. Nicely laid out with a wide range of food to choose from.

The reason i gave 5 star is Mr. javeed from concierge, special thanks to him for his assistance and great attitude.

Location are a way from traffic, quite location and area, rooms is big, they have a perfect entertainment club area

Nice place with good rooms did not find an option with breakfast included, which is 160 SR per person (expensive for a family of 4 for breakfast )
Swimming pool only for males, ladies only allowed in the kid's 2foot pool
But a great place for decompression for the life of a Jeddah citizen
The hotel in KAEC is basically a ghost town with minimal inhabitants, or maybe because of vacation but will visit again for a short R&R just an hour and a half from Jeddah

I would like to take a moment and a few to write a review of a wonderful experience my wife and I had at Bay La Sun.

To begin with, we had booked a room with a normal city view from the 14th to 16th July for our 1st anniversary, but due to an extreme rare problem that occurred within KAEC, the hotels and other offices had to shut down those 2 days and we had to return back to our city on the 14th itself.

The judgement is not made on the mishaps that happens, but on how they handle the mishaps, the hotel manager Mr. Raed Aljahdali understood the significance of this matter and took care of us really well that he compensated us with a better package the following week from 20th - 22nd July which included a better view (sea and marine view), a honeymoon package, 4 games at the Bay la sun club and a late check out, all of it was free of cost with a variety of delicious breakfast. Other than him, Mr. Hamza Alghamdi the receptionist, Mr. Feyaz Anver the supervisor of house keeping and Mr. Bachu the house keeping staff had given us a service of a very exceptional one.

I would definitely recommend anyone visiting KAEC to stay at Bay La Sun and enjoy the services they give to their customers.

Very good experience overall. Nice comfortable rooms. I most enjoyed the restaurant, its food quality, and the friendliness of its staff, particularly Adel who was always ready to help and serve with a constant smile. Thank you very much for making my stay a pleasant experience.

I Never stayed in but I did go to the buffet every day I was in there, buffet in the evening for Ramadan costs around 220 Rial (53€) Ish, but I do have to say the food the waiters the waiter manager every single plate is amazing, the atmosphere the customer service, you can tell they care from the Morrocan waiters (by the way they make a beautiful Morrocan tea) to the chefs everything is on point.
They make you feel special and unique and the place is worth the visit, if you are resident they give you 20% discount just so you know!

Pssst! The less busy season is in Ramadan, if you go in winter (3 months winter) is packed with people and price rise way more!

Excellent experience with only caveat wasn’t able to get refund for early check out but it was my own mistake. Overall the staff is very welcoming and accommodating.

One of my favourite hotels. The rooms are big, very quiet and the beds are so comfortable. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service is friendly and fast.

I've stayed here a few times now over the past couple of years, and always found it pleasant and the staff helpful. I haven't really used much of the facilities, but the beds are spacious and comfortable, the bathrooms are ample, the Aircon is relatively unobtrusive, and the breakfasts will keep you going for the day. The views can vary, depending on which side of the building you're on.
The lifts can be slow, particularly if you are trying to avoid sharing with anyone for social distancing, but there is not much to be done about that and it's still better than the stairs.

Stayed here working at an event. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good facilities, the rooms are very generous size and comfortable.

The hotel is spotless, the reception is warm and welcoming, the resturant serves very delicious dishes with a wide range of choices, it is also reasonably priced. The service is excellent and I would like especially thank room service, namely Burhan and Lail, cause i left some items behind after check out, and when i called the next day they assured me they had my items in a safe place for me to pick up anytime. A really wonderful experience.

It's pricey so I couldn't afford to stay her but it's a wonderful hotel nonetheless.
We enjoy spending time at the games room especially the bowling alley.
