I second the review of Felix below. The all-Yemeni staff do their best to make sure you have a good experience, and I greatly appreciated their hospitality and willingness to help a non-Arabic speaker like myself. More importantly, the food is excellent. I got fuul, the typical Yemeni bread, and a dish I've never had before (nor do I know its name): basically a mix of liver, vegetables, and perhaps other parts of an animal (lamb?). Who cares because it was great and didn't have a strong organ meat taste. That being said, those who are NOT fans of organ meat might still want to play it safe and stick with the fuul (Middle Eastern bean dip, which can be every bit as good as a well prepared meat dish). And no Yemeni meal would be complete with the Adeni tea, my personal favorite style of Middle Eastern milk tea (or just tea in general). I would definitely come back here next time I'm in Abha.

Its good place to have Yamani food prices are suitable for every body and food chemistry i like it i hope just for them give us tissue paper and orde inside room rather bother our self order and pay before go in room other wis it will like fast food pay first,....for me doesn't bother me too much but when we say it is restaurant its well served in general its acceptable

The food is fantastic. The staff is great. The prices are good too. They have a spicy yogurt mis which is extremely delicious. Try it

Will always remember this restaurant as a very dear and special place. The staff is extremely kind – I think each time something was deducted from the bill or given as an extra. The list of food items is long – as a vegetarian you'll be happy to eat sizzling hot (they cook everything in traditional stone earthenware, and serve the dishes bubbling) foul or lentils, or oily msaqqa or mixed vegetables. The flavoured rice is great, as is their Yemeni lhouh pancakes (similar to Ethiopian injera). And – whatever you order comes covered with a huge fresh bread sprinkled with black sesame seeds, and served with hot + spicy sauces. Finally – the experience of dining in one of their family booths (sitting on the floor, listening to the kids playing in the booth next door, then taking your optional nap after finishing) is worth the bill in itself!

Very crowded and seems quite famous for it's food. Very well maintained and taste is good. Can visit for lunch or dinner. Owners son is a humble and nice person. He arranged seating area for us. Enjoyed the food.
