Jaffali Mosque

Alhamdulillah because of flight delay, we got opportunity to visit this beautiful mosque, Al Jaffali Mosque on April 2023. It is also known as white mosque located in Jeddah. It is very peaceful, well maintained, clean, with very nice lake view nearby. Hopefully got chance to visit this mosque next time. InsyaAllah 🤲🤲🤲

Good transit area for Umrah pilgrims while waiting for their hotel in Mecca to be ready. Calm and peaceful inside, spacious area on the outside. With a lake beside it, the place becomes windy. Extremely hot temperature is calmed with the breeze. Even the ablution area is air conditioned!

Within its vicinity, is the Old Jeddah City (Balad). There are remnants of old civilization around the area. Plus, there's a Tomb of Hawa (Eve) within walking distance from the mosque.

You can take your baby in female section so that I like the this mosque very much! Also this is neat & clean

A mosque steeped in culture and history in Al-Balad. Lovely place and the renovations around it make it a true sight to behold. The fact that it’s by the water just makes it even more incredible.

Jaffali Grand Mosque is a very attractive mosque in Jeddah. It is a wonderful tourist spot in Balad. Evening walks, sunset views, park areas, children's sports, street food vendors — all are located in the midst of the historical Balad area. The mosque's color and river view are also very attractive, and the parking area is adorned with beautiful flowers 🌺🌹. It's truly awesome. The parking charge for an hour is 5 riyals."

Historic landmark near the Red Sea. Highly recommend.

Beautiful mosque with a very well maintained green and lush park surrounding it. A nice place to have a good morning or evening walk. Good place for kids to play. There are hop on rental bikes if you like them. Very serene location and the Mosque is beautiful in and out Masha Allah. If you’re in this neighborhood of Jeddah or you’re visiting Balad, you can spend time here in this park for a while and pray in this mosque. Overall a very nice and calm place.

Beautiful mosque in a great location. Unfortunately I couldn't enter it as I'm not Muslim. I also met a lovely cat that wanted to cuddle while I was sitting on the bench next to the mosque.

Mosque that was build in front of KSA Qisas court (hukum pancung). This mosque itself are the land or place for execution. Mosque have good architecture, still looks like old mosque but with modern touch. There is a lake outside the mosques. Nice vieq

This mosque is situated nearby a lake and is so beautiful at night. They had clean mats for prayers and family area too surrounded by parks and Balad city

Jaffali Mosque is an architectural marvel built in 1987 near the Al-Balad area. This stunning white mosque sits next to a calm lake and is one of the most beautiful in old Jeddah. The mosque's architectural elegance and grandeur exemplify the 20 domes that adorn its roof. The mosque also features a well-organized layout.

Built in the year 1987 by the Egyptian architect Abdelwahed El-Wakil, the Jaffali Mosque is one of the best places to visit in Jeddah, in addition to being one of its most famous mosques. Located near the Al Balad area and the Al Bayaa roundabout, this mosque is characterised by 20 opulent domes, and sprawls across more than 3000 square metres.

Home to a rectangular courtyard, and various corridors, this mosque can accommodate almost 2500 worshippers at a time. In addition to its striking white structure, the mosque also has a 3-tier minaret and offers serene views of the lake.

Jaffali Mosque is spread in 3,060 square meters and can comfortably accommodate over 2,500 worshipers.

The mosque also has a 370 square meter rectangular courtyard surrounded by beautiful dome-topped corridors.

Built on a raised platform, it features stairways leading to the main interior area on both the eastern and western facades.

The building, designed by renowned architect Abdel Wahed Al-Wakeel, is inspired by the city's elegant ancient neighborhoods.

The mosque's layout is highly compartmentalized, yet united by a common rectangular theme, separating all sections from each other.

Holly place with amazing imam although the AC was very high but I enjoyed the praying there especially Fajer

Our Muthowif explained that this mosque used to undergo qisas punishment which was witnessed by many people. Now it has turned into a very beautiful white mosque with a lake.

Apart from what others mentioned about the qishas, this masjid has quite a special view. At the other side it has a Waterview, overlooking the river. When you go there during the dawn, it's quite pretty, with an open field section, riverview, the fresh morning breeze. Families must have spend good afternoon here

Love visiting this place. We go here once or twice a week with kids during Maghreb
As there is plenty of space for them to play,ride their scooters 🛴 and toys, walkway too along side pond with lovely old Jeddah city view.

Finish our Isha salah and leave, we also come here for Eid namaz and also sometimes for jummah salah.
