Al-Taraf Model Zoo

One of the standout features of this zoo was its impressive collection of animals. From majestic lions and tigers to playful chimpanzees and curious giraffes, there was no shortage of fascinating creatures to observe. I was particularly impressed by the diversity of species represented. Beyond the more commonly seen animals, such as elephants and zebras, the zoo also housed unique and rare species like red pandas, snow leopards, and capybaras. It was a delight to witness these exotic creatures up close and learn about their behaviors and conservation needs.

Informative signage and interactive exhibits offered valuable insights into the challenges facing wildlife and the importance of protecting their habitats. This educational aspect added depth to the experience and encouraged visitors to appreciate and respect the natural world.

First time I saw rare animals like Donkey,kangaroo, weasel, lion,arabian dog and tiger..Amazing experience

Very Good Maintenance, good Architecture and variety of animals.All animals specially Tiger and Lion can be seen from closer. Much better than Dammam Zoo, found rear animals and bird species that to well protected and healthy.

Good place to visit with family, SAR 15 per person from 3+ age. Healthy animals and hygiene area.

It's good to visit with small children to many wild animals closely except a stinky smell.

Well maintained zoo. With breeds of Saudi.. Such a wealthy camel.. There are lot of rides for kids.. My daughter enjoyed it well.. Good for a evening visit with family and friends 🌹

Small but consist of almost all animals, reptiles, kids play area,
I think even few of zoos doesn't have tis variety ...

Really Wonder to watch such Animals in this small village and limited area like Lion, Tiger, White Tiger, chimpanzee, Bactrian camel, etc., Really Worthy for 10 Riyals..,
