Gore Dole

Great location and super friendly hosts. They had met us late in the evening and suggested local beer or tea as we weren’t hungry. The room was clean and exactly as on the photo. Also there was no problem with hair dryer as hostess brought it to our room in the morning when we asked for it. For breakfast there was a lot of different type of local food and it was super delicious.
Highly recommend this place.

We stopped for the night on our way to Greece.
It was a very nice experience, the place is very clean, confortable and cosy. The host is very helpful and welcoming.

He gave us good advise to have a walk and visit the local church and monument.

We had dinner and breakfast and both where home made and more than excellent!

Brand new property that is beautifully decorated with comfortable beds, nice rooms and great outdoor space. Everything was sparkling clean and thoughtfully put together. The hosts immediately make you feel at home from the moment you arrive and continue to go above and beyond throughout the stay. They made a delicious breakfast with ingredients from their garden, introduced us to local hiking trails, and had great recommendations in Nis. Overall a beautiful property and lovely stay - 10/10 would recommend!

We stayed over for a night in a small country-side hotel near Nis, called Gore Dole. This place was recommended by a hotel in Nis - where we booked first -, because they could not accommodate us due to a technical problem. Official check-in is until 10pm and we arrived 30 mins before 10, however our host messaged me earlier, even if we come late, they will wait for us. In Donji Matejevac, the host, Peter welcomed us in the car park of the hotel. The check-in was very smooth, under a minute and Peter showed us our room. After we accommodated our room, we went down to the bar to have a local drink, called Rakia (in Hungary we call it Palinka, in Germany and Austria Schnaps). We asked some snack and Peter put together some very delicious nuts for us. We loved the style, the decoration and the vibe of this new hotel. Peter was an excellent host and very polite. We had a good night sleep, the bed was comfy. We stayed in room 4, which was the last one in the corridor. It is a small studio with a kitchenette. Parking was spacious for all guests. A big bonus that Gore Dole is dog friendly too. In the morning, Peter and his mom prepared us a very delicious plant based breakfast for our request, from mostly local vegetables and ingredients. It was very nicely presented too, one of our best vegan breakfast we ever had in a hotel for sure! We will surely return here again whenever we cross Serbia.

At first step in you feel like you are part of the family! Those guys are really born for this business. Don't forget to visit the background garden full of fruit trees and vegetables ! And of course to try homemade "firewater" :-)

Это лучший отель который Я посетил за последний год. Очень удобное расположение невдалеке от платные дороги место очень тихое и уютное, можно хорошо выспаться.
Отель практически новый всё сделано в хорошем качестве, везде чисто и аккуратно. Видно что отель в хороших руках. Меня встречала размещал сам хозяин зоран он же приготовил отличный ужин.
Я понял что такое настоящая сербская гостеприимство, было очень вкусно и душевно.
Всем рекомендую это место как для остановки на одну ночь так и для длительного проживания. Очень недорого и отличное качество.

Sehr freundliche Familie. Wir haben uns von der ersten Sekunde an willkommen gefühlt. Spgar unser kleiner Hund hat sich wie Heim gefühlt. wir haben sehr leckeres Abendessen bekommen. Original serbisch und mit regionalen zutaten. Frisch gebackenes kürbiskern Brot hat das perfekte essen abgerundet. Wir kommen. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder 🙏😊

Ein nettes kleines Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Sehr gutes Essen in familiärer Umgebung. Jounglierkurs inklusive!
