This place is absolutely gorgeous and i really recommend it to everyone visiting this special nature reserve which is known for rare type of eagles. One part of tour through this nature reserve is climbing to the view point from where meanders can be seen. As soon as you are able you should visit this place cause it's possible that in next few years it won't be allowed for small watercraft to sail through canyon. Beside meanders there are some great caves you should visit as well. Check out pictures, they say a lot.

This is the place where the nature played the best possible role. I think everything here has to stay like it is untouched, because this is something that you can see just here. The most amazing river flow with unbelievable meanders.

Probably the best view in Serbia. This place is surreal. Griffon vultures circling wherever you look is what makes this place even more special. Take a boat trip and you'll get the opportunity to take a mini cruise through the meanders and to climb one of the observation decks as well. It's a beautiful combo of sightseeing.

Heaven on earth

I think this has to be one of my top 3 places I have ever been. The view is unbelievable. But first - directions. Google Maps will not get you here (May 2024). A new road has been built and at the time google did not know it for me. It wanted me to go down a steep mud road - carry on down the road for 5-6 minutes following the fresh asphalt and there is no need for any gravel roads.

Parking for 8-12 cars just outside of a farm. Take the small path and then as it forks turn right and you will find the viewing platform. Prepare to be blown away!! Absolutely mind blowing. Soak it all in.
I took the walk along the ridge for an hour or so and at the 10 minute point there is an even better view tucked nicely in some rocks amongst the trees - worth walking along to. Take the path all the way along the ridge if you get time, although do remember to bring water!
