My uncle took me and his kids here once. Loved it, was really fun to run around in the circles!

This is one of the best memorial monuments I've ever seen. I like the idea of rifle aims. It's a little bit pity there is nothing right at the opposite hill.
The round space inside the monument has incredible echo.

At this location, on October 13, 1941, the Trstenik Partisan Detachment and the Dragosinjci Company of the Royal Detachment led a multi-hour battle against parts of the 171st German Division. This battle remained known as one of the first frontal battle of partisans and occupying forces. On the memorial plaque in front of the monument is the text: "On 13 October 1941, defending the borders of the Uzice Republic, the Vrnjci and Trstenik NOP detachments fought a fierce battle against five times superior German forces." The complex covers the area of ​​12 hectares and was built from 1978 to 1981. The author of the monument is architect Bogdan Bogdanovic.

This is probably the most stunning Spomenik I've seen in Serbia. Powerful, beautiful, and eerily futuristic.

You can park by the main road, there is a small parking area, and walk up the hill. It's not very well tended, but the spomenik itself is immaculate.

Posebno mesto, predivno. Duh predaka i onih koji tek treba da koračaju ovuda, oseća se ta energija koja odzvanja u večnosti.

Spomen park je odlično uređen, trava uredno pokošena, ima dovoljno klupica i urađeno je osvetljenje. Spomenik sam po sebi je prelep, pravo malo arhitektonsko čudo. Divno mesto za opuštanje i izlet. Treba napomenuti da se odmah uz park prostire nepregledno prostranstvo hrastove šume sa širokim putevima idealnim za dugu šetnju. Preporučujem od srca.

Na meti legendarnog "Snajpera" koji svedoči jednom važnom istorijskom događaju i kao takav poseduje značajnu kulturno-istorijsku, ali i arhitektonsku vrednost.
📍Selo Popina se nalazi u blizini Vrnjačke Banje i obeležava lokaciju na kojoj su se partizani i Nemci prvi put sukobili u otvorenoj borbi.

Jedan od grandioznijih spomenika u Srbiji! Jedina zabuna moze se dogoditi zbog navigacije, koja salje u selo Popina, a spomenik nije tamo, vec na magistrali. Obratite paznju na desnu stranu i mali parking za svega nekoliko auta, kada krenete iz Vrnjacke banje ka Krusevcu, jer je tabla slabo vidljiva a spomen park se nalazi na brdu, 15-ak minuta pesacenja odatle. Vredi svakog koraka, naravno.

Estetski prelep i interesantan spomenik i zato ocena 5. Trebalo bi više povesti računa o okruženju u kom se spomenik nalazi, ali zbog ljudskog nemara ne želim da smanjujem ocenu.

Ce lieu commémoratif est situé en haut d'une petite coline. Il est composé de grandes formes géométriques, qui font penser au dessus d'un fusil (la partie pour viser). Il y a un petit parking à côté, puis il faut marcher 5 minutes environ.
