Impressive Serbian Orthodox monastery in Negotin built in late 13th & early 14th century. When you visit here try the selection of wine or the honey & caj(tea) they're good.

The Monastery of Bukovo belonged to the Diocese of the Serbian Orthodox Church. The monastery church is dedicated to the Holy Father Nikolai, is located 4 km from Negotin on the road Zaječar-Negotin. The name of the monastery is traditionally derived from "beech forests" or bird "noise" that lived here in the old rats.

Excellent place for family and orthodox believers...They're known for their good wine, schnapps and wood furniture and they're all made by hand by monks
