Base Camp for Adventurers - Urban Guerrilla

One of the nicest places I have ever stayed at. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Old building creates unique ambiance. Wonderful garden and terrace. Owner has very good knowledge of bike routes. Tennis court on the back yard. I wish I would had stayed longer than one night. I would give this place six stars if I could.

Stayed here on our last night in Serbia when I was supporting Tim Franklin on his run around the world. Boyan was so welcoming and helpful, which was very much appreciated after a long couple of weeks.
The rooms we had were very well finished and comfortable, and facilities in them brilliant. Boyan even helped us out with breakfast in the morning and cycled alongside Tim on his run to the Bulgarian border!
I would have loved to have stayed another night, just to enjoy the relaxing room.
If you are in thr area I definitely recommend making this a place to stay

Bojan is a man who hosts out of passion rather than for business. His place is well looked after for and he genuinely cares for his guests. This is a must stop for any cyclist in the area. He cultivates an environment which is very friendly and social, easy to meet fellow travelers and make new friends.

A really great campsite on EV 6 and EV 13. Our last night in Serbia and they hosted a group of family and friends for dinner and tennis. They asked us to join and it was a really lovely experience. Full kitchen, clothes washing machine. Very, very clean. Excellent bicycle repair tools

There are no words that can describe this piece of perfection. You have to come here to see it for yourself. Based in center of Negotin with its own vibe and surroundings, from moment you enter the gate, you'll forget that you're in the city. It simply has everything, and everything is just perfect: location, facilities, cleanliness, comfort... This is all thanks to a great great host, Bojan and his family ! Thank you Bojan for everything, for all the hospitality and tour guides. Can't wait to come back, to continue discovering that part of eastern Serbia, as this would be a perfect base :)

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The perfect place to stay to relax and rest, especially for cyclists.
Bojan's hospitality was fantastic, his route suggestions welcome and we enjoyed his company for the first part of our journey from Negotin.

The manager is an angel, not a man! We were two cyclists riding the Eurovelo 6, and he welcomed us giving a beautiful room for a very cheap price along with two beers and a good breakfast. Boyan (his name) is a great and kind person who likes it's job, and likes to make happy and comfortable his guests. If you are in this city, go directly here! No other way!

I can not recommend this place more! After an exhausting rainy day on the road, it was an oasis where I could have a great rest, eat amazing food, do all the necessary repairs on my bike, and have a chat with wonderfull people! Bojan, the owner, is a very inviting and friendly guy. He clearly runs the place out of joy and enthusiasm for adventures rather than making money from his guests. I felt more like a friend than a customer. Thank you for everything, the mirror you gave me works great!

What paradise! I was looking through the gates and was welcomed in and loved the place instantly. Bojan, the owner, must meet so many cyclists yet he seemed genuinely curious and interested in my own trip and had time to chat. I loved staying here and really hope I return some day. This is the best place to stay not only in Negotin, but in all eastern Serbia. Especially for those who loves nature and etno ambients. I always stay here when I can't go back home although I live only 70km away. The host is kind and all the family. You will find in your rooms the most detailed thing such as tooth brushes, new, closed, wipes of all kind, chocolates on your pillow, rakija (traditional serbian drink in your fridge). Everything you might need is there too if you ask. The iron, hair dryer, precised instructions for moving around. The great pub is next to the lodge, grill store as well. Many markets and local restaurants

If you are on a bicycle tour you must stop here! It is too good to be true. It is all a bicycle traveller needs and more.
The place is perfect:
- easy access with the bicycle without any step
- great location in the centre but quite
- great garden with different corners where to chill out including a covered area with a library of bicycle books and magazines
- great toilet and shower. Everything works perfectly, it's immaculately clean, decorate with taste and everything you might need is available like a 4 star hotel including new toothbrushes you might need it.
- fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and hanging line
- there are rooms, 2 tepee tents with beds and space to pitch your tent

However, the best part is the owner Bojan and all his family! They are extremely nice and welcoming. They do anything to help you and make your stay comfortable. Bojan is a keen cyclist and knows the area very well, he's able to suggest all kind of routes around the area.

I've heard of "Base Camp..." In Iran and been advised to stay here. I'm very glad I have listened and stopped by on my way home. Bojan and his family created great place, friendly and comfortable. Actually you might have a problem leaving this place 😃

An absolute must stay if anywhere near the area. Hosts were genuinely welcoming and somehow seemed to know exactly what I wanted even before I did. Amazing outdoor area, safe storage for bikes, fantastic rooms, all in the centre of town. Highly recommended!!!

So cosy and unique! Hosts make sure that you feel welcomed. Accommodation is very well equipped and full of decorative details that make you enjoy the place even more. Garden is a forest that makes this place calming.
This is my second stay and I will be coming back!

OK, so this place is a literal freaking *paradise* in the centre of a random remote Serbian city. Bogdan is a cyclist and big traveler in his soul, but whole-heartedly welcomes anybody, including moto riders and any other travelers.

The accommodation is spread around the house where Bogdan and his family live and consists of several wooden cabins, old school tents with mattresses and hygiene cubicles (toilet, shower) all placed in the beautiful lush gardens. I really appreciate I could park my motorbike inside.

However, the absolute highlight was Bogdan himself and his passion for bicycles and travel, which you can talk about for hours. Additionally, he offered me a beer and refused my tries to pay for it and the stay included an interesting Serbian breakfast.

This amazing place will treat you like kings and queens and honestly, I think they deserve to be paid more than mere 10 EUR/night for all this. Just stay for a night and you'll see what I mean.

Bojan is the best! Outstanding customer service, he is taking care of everything. He even got up in the middle of the night to pick up my father from the border. The rooms are so cozy and you have everything you need and have each a private terrace, the garden is beautiful and there is a secure bicycle parking. If you have the chance to stay there, do it! We had an amazing stay here ! Place is really clean, everything is made to make us comfortable. The host is really kind and helpful, he offered us a beer and coffee, and some Serbian pastries...

Outside, we decided to rent the tent in the garden, which was so comfortable. Bathroom and kitchen are perfect, and the shelter helps in meeting the other guests.
