Avis - Rent a Car Belgrade Airport

Bad score without reason. I have good experience. I rented car for 2 weeks, and extended contract twice, two time for one week. Communication went smoothly by mail. Written confirmation was enough for agreement to be extended. I even got car from higher class range than I booked.
Staff is really helpful and kind. All recommendation from my side!

2024:I just rented again, actually two times this year. They are still the winning team! From now on, I am only renting from them. No doubts.

Returning customer, as always I have again received an excellent service and very good value for money. This time, an unidentified driver slightly damaged my car in a parking lot. I received great assistance from both the after hours contact and the front staff at Avis Belgrade Airport Office. I had no issues at all to activate insurance policy that I took up as part of the contract, needed a police report though, (easy to arrange). Thank you so much, will definitely keep coming back.

Every time I land in Belgrade I get absolutely professional service from everyone in the office. Car is always ready and waiting for me whatever time I land. Office in Serbia works in different manner when it comes to charging insurance but I always get informed about the additional costs and I always get different offer to choose from when it comes to insurance. Very good and professional approach from the dealer. They offered reasonable price even during the peak time. The pick up and drop in formalities were very quick and simple. The security deposit refund was adjusted in the credit card the same day itself.

We rented twice with Avis (at Nikola Tesla Airport), first time a small car for a day trip and second time a bigger car for 12 days. In both occasions we made an online reservation before retrieving the car at the shop and both times the staff was super nice and helpful, the cars were brand new. We picked Avis out of all the other companies at the airport not only because it has a big name in the market, but also because it had one of the best fares and rental conditions in the country. Would definitely rent with them again!

All OK! I was a skeptic by reading the bad reviews but I decided to give it a chance. At pickup there was something to wait (10 mins) since there were a lot of bookings. We made the reservation the day before so it was not found immediately, only after searching in the system it was found. They offered us an additional insurance for about 10€ per day to reduce the amount that was going to be preauthorized on the credit card (about 700€ instead of 1500€). I decided not pay that, so about 1500€ were pre-authorized from my austrian credit card. The car was checked (I was looking too) and small scratches already present were noted. The car was in general cleaned. After bringing the car back, it was checked again and since there were no scratches the amount was unblocked on the credit card. We had just to pay about 3€ in total as airport taxes, but only RSD are accepted, so keep some little Serbian Dinars with you.

I've used Avis in Belgrade 3 times now and so far no complaints. People at the desks were helpfull and worked 20 minutes over time because my plane was delayed. Prices are affordable (I don't take extra insurance), and no surprise costs have been charged, even though I was a little bit scared to check out using the keybox without a final inspection.

I'll use them again as long as they keep it up like this.

It was pretty easy. I got a brand new car 🚗 and staff is super friendly. I will recommend Avis rent a car Belgrade and will use their service again when I come back in Serbia 🇷🇸 on January.

Actually I did had a good experience here.
Decent car for a decent price. Also I did forget an item in the car. They were very helpful to return it in time, with a smile.

Guys were professional yet easygoing, nice refreshment after hours of travelling. Everything went super smooth both with the pickup and drop off of he car, although the pick up was after their official working hours. (knowing my flight number they knew we were landing with delay, and they waited, no additional notice needed). Overall, a very pleasant experience. Thanks guys!

Almost didn’t hire from AVIS due to the poor reviews but I’m glad I did.
Friendly staff, competitive prices, overall good experience, I will hire from AVIS again when in Belgrade.
Only criticism I have is they could improve and speed up the return process.

Highly recommended. Even my arrival was delayed more then 12 hours, after contacting them reservation was still on. They even stayed few minutes longer after regular working hours since we arrived very late at night.

The year of production of the still dictates the quality of service as well as the charm.
