Kućica na Drini - Drina river house

One of the greatest place in Serbia is a small house on the Drina River 🤩
It is also the most photographed place in all of Serbia..
It is a house in the middle of the river built in 1968 by a group of swimmers who were looking for shelter after training.
There is a house in the middle of the river and you can swim around it.

Beautiful location and we were so lucky the sun came out just as we arrived. The river looks stunning. The house is simple but unique. The nearby restaurant provides simple food and the toilets are clean.

Very relaxing spot to have drinks, lunch, or just to snap some pictures. There's restaurant and coffee shop facing the Drina house. This place will be included if you took a day tour of Western Serbia. Interesting backstory on how the house was built in the middle of Drina River. The weather is lovely in spring. I was lucky to get some cool pics below.

Awesome experience. Only me and husband went in a boat ride to Drina River house.
It is only one house in the mid of the river.
There will be assisting men to take us along the wooden home.

Nice tourist spot, the River House is a monument nice to see if you pass by. If you see the picture it's good to know that this is all you get, being there or not. There is no way to go to the house, you stay on the river bank and admire or take pictures. Or can enjoy a caffe or a meal in the restaurant nearby.

Great place near Bajina Basta, must have to visit when you're traveling to National park Tara. There is also a few restaurants there nearby so it will be a nice place to visit and rest.

What a lovely, fairytale, legendary place! There are bunch of places to have something to eat, or drink, with a view towards Drina and The house.

Great photo place!! Also there is balcony (wooden fence), great to take shoots from there. Watch out if you are flying drone. There is a cable connected to Drina river house, so fly safely or activate obstacles avoidance system.

Came in late Feb, not much happening in the area, but the house is there! Most photographed place in serbia.

Amazing view, river Drina is just amazing. There are few nice restaurants with amazing views and nice food, you can't visit the house on Drina.

In Serbia, near the town of Bajina Basta, right in the center of the Drina river stands a tiny wooden house. The house was built by local guys just for recreation, but now it has become one of the main attractions of Serbia.

Unique place! Extraordinary feeling and energy. You have to visit.

Unique house on the Drins river, it has few restaurants nearby, a sight gor a sore eyes...

Stunning view. Crazy this is the seventh house that has been built on this rock. Years ago locals used to swim in the river and they came up with the idea to build a house here to stay and enjoy during the summer. Unfortunately the house was dragged down during the winter months by the rising waters of the river. The people of the tower would rebuild it, until 2011, where they finally laid down a firm foundation. And now the jouse is standing strong ever since!

Great view. You can sit at restaurant Studenac with view over the river and Kucica na Drini.

Amaizing place, you have probably seen photos of this place milion times but you must come and see in real life.

Extremely pretty sight. I was in awe. This little house made up on wood has a history of often known to be washed away and then rebuilt. It is beautifully placed on a rock and is located right in the middle of the river Drina that connects Bosnia to Serbia, known as Banija Basta.
Despite the fact that it is touristy, it’s a relaxing place you can have a stopover at, when you’re on the way to Tara canyon.
I visited there during the night as it came on the way back to Belgrade.
