I experienced and visited Banjska stena twice. Few years ago, I hiked from Perućac to the top of mountain Tara. When you hike about 5 or 6 hours and then you get amazing view as your award is such amazing experience. The view is breathtaking and I recommend all hikers to climb this lovely mountain. Few days ago, I decided to go there by car to some point and then continue on feet (about half an hour). The place is still magical, but experience is incomparable. If you have kids, I truly recommend going by car and then hike through lovely mountain forest, but if you prefer a bit longer hiking, don't even think on your car as a transport to this amazing place.

Undoubtedly, this is the best place in Serbia. Untouched nature in combination with the breathtaking view. For sure a sight to be hold in our memories for years. A must visit spot. You will not regret. We went by foot from Mitrovac. It took us 1h15min to the top. The path is marked all way along and easy acessible.

Great view from the top. You can come here from the Mitrovac by foot. It takes about 2 hours or you can reach by car, park it and then walk about 15 minutes. Tip: If you want to enjoy alone and take good photos better go earlier in the morning, otherwise it will be crowded because lot of tourists come here.

Based on local guide statement it is the third biggest canyon in the world. This point has a great view to this canyon, river and lake. It is very easy to go. Just 15 minutes walk from the parking. The road is not asphalt for 6 kilometers. The trees around are very nice and interesting.

Extraordinary! Exciting! Full of joy! Must try! Must see! Suggestion is to go by foot from Mitrovac because it's not the same if you come here by car and take a walk for 600m. It's totally different experience when you hike for an hour and then the landscape from here is real award!!!

Don't let challenging terrain detour you from seeing this wonder of nature, and when you do get there keep on going just a little bit further since there are few more spots with diffetent views over there. It truly is amazing just to be there, to watch over Drina river and over to the Republic Srpska. PRO TIP: make sure you get there during morning, Sun is then positioned behind you so your photos will be better. Also, there will be less tourists :)
