The Ravanica-Vrdnik Monastery (Serb. Манастир Раваница-Врдник, romanized: Manastir Ravanica-Vrdnik), also known as Little Ravanica (Serb. Мала Раваница, romanized: Mala Ravanica) is a Serbian Orthodox monastery in Vrdnik in Fruška Gora. The exact date of its founding is unknown (probably around the 16th century). It has been declared a cultural monument of great importance. In the monastery church take a look at the ceiling. The blue color you can spot is extraordinary, very rare and very hard to achieve even today. For more interesting facts (and there are a few) ask the monks there. You may be amazed! If you have a sense of adventure, take a walk through the forest to the Jazak Monastery. There is no official path so be careful but it is worth the effort.

Nice, peaceful place with a lot of greenery, orchard... Outside. And beautiful architecture of the monastery, so solemn... And in front of the entrance there is a wooden cabin where you can buy candles, honey made by nuns, and souvenirs.

Mythical monastery. XV or XVI c. The churche is monumental, but not reconstructed fully. There is monument of Milica Stojadinović - Srpkinja, near the main entrance of monastery complex. The monastery is in the middle of old forest with impressive woods. There are only 5 nuns living there permanently.

Impressive monastery rich in frescoes and valuable antiques. It is the most significant medieval Monasteries of Fruška Gora. The Vrdnik Monastery was first mentioned in the Turkish records dating from 1566, although there are no exact data on time of its foundation and its donor. Vrdnik Monastery was established in the 15th century, before the Turkish occupation of Serbia and it is the center of the cult of Holy Prince Lazar of Serbia.
