A great place to hike. Great views on top. However, there are places where it gets a little difficult, the rocks are either too steep or slippery, so one must pay more attention.

Magic place to hike. It takes 2 hours to get to "Belvedere", but it's totally worth it. We had rain and wind when I got up, which made the cliff and stones, slippery. With Safety/Climbing Boots and a lot of attention,it can be done even if it rains.

Please remember:
Keep it clean and respect Mother Earth!

Beautiful spot. We had a problem getting on the top ,as the snow was still there , unfortunately:(
But even from the surrounding area, the views are spectacular.

A very nice hike with fantastic view. We did it twice in 2 days on sunny weather. Overall it took as 1 hour from Rarau Hotel to go through the peaks on the other side. Simple Beautiful. There is a harder part of the hike where you have to climb using chains as handrails; for that you need to have adequate hiking boots. I recommend this to be done only in dry weather.

i hadn't planned the trip, just went with the flow. glad I did. :)
was for the weekend at Deluț, had the best meals i ever did at Filuț (be careful, if you stay longer than one weekend will gain some weight. because you won't stop eating, it's that good. highly recommend it. and the view it's pittoresque.
back to the trip. :)
drove the Transrarău, that went fine, the drivers never enjoy the view while doing so. :)
went to Rarău peak, it's my first time. enjoyed the view and the quietness. i dislike the radio station, but nevertheless, i ignored it as much as I could. :)
then decided to go to the two big rocks you couldn't ignore. not knowing how they are called. i went up coming from the Rarău peak, not the hotel.
encountered a very steep trail, with chains to help you climb. i was a little discouraged at first, only to find out it's pretty easy holding to the chains. don't get me wrong it's pretty demanding, but it's manageable. ;)
once on top (@the belvedere) you will be encountered with a spectacular view of the "Pietrele Doamnei" ad literam "Ladies Rocks".
you will have a 360 view of the surroundings, and the Giumalău peak.
it's beautiful.
on the way back i went through the trail which took me to the hotel.
and it's quite a trail, full of fallen rocks, but the view it's as beautiful from bellow as it is from the top.
great hike. you'll be pleased with you're decision to go up, and your effort will be fully recompensated by the amazing view.
cheers and keep the nature clean! ;)

The most lovely landmark I've ever seen.

It's not easy to get to the Belvedere plateau, which is the main plateau but, you will have the best view and you can take incredible photos.

If you are not strong enough to climb the mountain, you can enjoy the mountain from the bottom but you can't make incredible photos.

Overall, you must visit this beautiful landmark but, if you want to climb the mountain itself, you have to check the local weather so you don't catch a rain and have very good climbing shoes.

Never been there even it is part of who I am as Romanian. Felt relaxed next to these majestic rocks, also felt lost in time as these used to be at the bottom of an ancient sea.
Lots of snow in April, the road is good, except the last segment to the top where is too narrow for my comfort.
Some people challenge themselves using the existing anchors mounted by other rock climbers.
A large crack suggests that there is going to be a rock slide in the near future, possible during the next earthquake

Spectacular climb. To get to the top takes about 30 minutes but parts are a near vertical climb, but is accessible to complete novices. Stunning views. Follow the blue and white crosses. Go to the top at your own risk though, there is no help and you could get hurt.

A very nice place, a lot of people who wants to climb the Lady Rocks. Many of them are not prepare for this kind of hiking. The view from the top is awesome. You can see the Easthern Carpathians in front of you. The legend said, under the rock somewhere, is a treasure. At the base of this peack, you can eat, drink something in a restaurant of Alpin Hotel. I recommend to visit, without hesitation.

If you are up for the ride, you'll get a bit of everything. It is a wonderful place.
It's better if you're prepared for both hiking and climbing.

It was an extraordinary experience, after we got on a pretty hard route, we came to a place that curts your breath. I forgot about my pain of legs and I was absorbed by beauty of the landscape. You must know that there is a cottage that offers overnight accommodation and that there are several cross country trails of different difficulty.
You must visit this quiet and full of beauty of nature place.
