Hotel Alpin Rarau

Beautiful hotel in the most exquisite location. Awesome staff ready to serve you and very friendly. The room was very clean and updated with spectacular views. I've read some reviews before booking that do not reflect the reality at all. Will go back anytime we have the occasion to do so.

Very nice ride on the way to the cabin. Beautiful views, fresh air, nice way to spend a day no matter the season. During winter you will have to properly equip your car with winter tires.

Very nice and cosy. Not too expensive either but be mindful to have winter tires for your car or talk with the hotel to taxi you to the top.
A lot of hiking trails with different difficulty ratings.
In the winter you can also ski.
Phone reception is present everywhere, so 4G is serviceable and you also get free Wi-Fi at the hotel (not the best, but works.

P. S. People who are afraid of dogs you might see a lot of them around but they are harmless.

Nice place, nice views. Can drink and eat there. Good service. I recommend a trip to the 3rd rock, to the Howk's Rock and to Giumalău tip, 1800 meters altitude. All of them provide excellent panoramas of the surroundings. The road from Pojorâta is still good in 2019.

A very clean and beautiful hotel in the mountains with spacious and nice rooms and a very friendly staff. For weddings and other events, hiking, climbing and just to rest a few days away from cities. Pricing is reasonable and the food is perfect.

This is a great place to visit if you are passing Campulun Moldovenesc. Great views. IF your are going to visit this place in the weekend, it's best to leave the car (if driving) in the fisrt parkings before the fotel, on the road there and hike (wall there). There are limited parking spots and not so many.

I travelled to Raurau mountains, to the new renovated cabana Rarau. I must tell you that I am very impressed by all I found here. Very nice furniture,very nice and polite staff, good atmosphere in the restaurant, .
I really loved the traditonal food, I recommend the troat with polenta, and also the coffe is very tasty.
Outside the hotel the landscape is amazing.The road to get at Cabana Rarau is very good.So I really recommend this hotel.

I reccomend every meter climbed, the place is fabulous, the cousine is Real Romanian Traditional and together with the view it becomes one unique memory that won't be forgotten. Stop reading my opinion and go there!

Awesome cabin on top of the mountain very quaint and luxurious inside with modern amenities. Great location, right next to Pietrele Doamnei. It was relaxing sleeping so gigh up in the mountain.
Price was ok considering location and comfort (great if you compare to similar locations in Europe). Great staff, very polite and eager to help (had a small problem that was resolved immediately with apologies from staff, although it was nothing they could have controlled).
Breakfast was included and it was amazing: not the continental teaser they do in other countries, this was a real breakfast with eggs and meats & cheese platter!
I highly recommend this location! I'm definitely coming back. It's my new favorite retreat!

What an amazing view!! Mornings are foggy and leaves you breathless! Also the food is very good, the staff is friendly and the accomodation is great.

Very good food and very quickly the waiter was very friendly for sure coming next time to stay at the hotel for 2 nights the best view!!

Wonderful place with a awesome view and the air is so fresh. The hotel has 5 stars, perfect food drink and the people are very nice. :)

You feel like a winner. When you arrive here the air is very clean and the landscape is amaizing. You can start many hiking routes from the cabin.

Nice view if you climb close to "pietrele doamnei". There is also a good restaurant and hotel.

Haven't booked a room but i spent one hour at the restaurant and the food was delicious
