Old style hotel, but well maintained. The room is clean, functional, spacious and above all well heated, which is really important in winter. The bathroom is renovated with all the necesarry utilities and amenities and kept really clean by the staff. If you are lucky you may be assigned with a room that has spectacular view over the hills and Caraiman cross. The entire hotel is covered by high speed WiFi network, which a huge plus for a hotel from this era.

The breakfast is basic continental style without much variety, yet everything is tasty and fresh. The low variety may be because the hotel was practically empty, besides our group. The hotel restaurant is spacious, but not well heated.

As a budget option, great value for money. Highly recommended if you need a clean, comfortable and well heated place to sleep in winter time.

The hotel is nice and clean. It has wonderful views. The rooms are large and have balconies, excepting the rooms from the six floor. But, these rooms are nicer than the rooms from the first till the fifth floors. The bathroom is also nicer. The breakfast is very good and varied with eggs, ham, sausages, cheese, vegetables, fruits, jam, butter, milk, fish, cakes, etc.

For the price of £45 a night with big rooms that are clean an location the best stop to see the mountain range an visit to the top. Have a dander here if you've the time. However in summer just to add the heating isn't always kept on at night so wrap up in bed but something to not put you off from visiting. Stunning

Location does everything for this place. You can't fault it even if it reminds you of a past era. As far as I'm concerned people who enjoy going up the mountains won't require luxury from an accommodation as long as the morning view is breathtaking and it's clean. We found both here. Parking is limited but people come and go and we've managed to park 3 cars there within an hour.

Lovely staff, good prices for the services and amenities offered. Clear and contentious environment. Delicious Swedish buffet breakfast is included in the room fare. Right next to the telecabina service and trails to Cascada Urlatoare and Jepii Mici, as well as Penny market.

Silva is probably the great hotel I was in! To wake up in the morning and see the whole mountain almost over you it's amazing. I recommand their place and services. Amazing conditions and people and the hell of of a view.

Great hotel with a kind of vintage flow. Nice location and great places to visit around.

I haven't stayed at the hotel. However, I had dinner at the restaurant and was very pleased. I especially liked the behavior of the waiters who are true professionals.
