If you're crossing the country, this is one of the best places to stop. Great food, traditional and super tasty, don't be afraid to try dishes as this is the kind of places you want to do that in; and it's ready quite quickly which you may want after driving several hours.

We spent a night here and it was amazing.
The area is great, nice play area for children, all safe. The food was delicious and the staff (cleaning lady, receptionist and waitresses) was nice and friendly.
We liked our rooms, comfy and how they were decorated. We will be coming again.

Worth the stop. Great food, big and tasty portions. Parking space, big terraces, they accept dogs. Friendly and fast service. Overall a nice experience. A bit expensive but great value for money.

Food here is nice. The staff is lovely too. The place has a long history and is nice to have food in a old romanian style. Like our grand parents were raised. The inside is very old style, keeping is natural look. While seating outside you get an amazing view of the natural landscape created by the people from the village up the hill.

If you want authentic moldavian food, this is the place. Excellent and fast service, great atmosphere with live music and the food is to die for.

The food is as authentic as they get, since you are in the heart of moldavia. It is on the expensive side but very, very well worth it.

An authentic romanian place where you can “feel” history and culture. The atmosphere is amazing and you can try here tasty Moldavian specialties. You find also goodies to go. I always stop here to buy “poale-n brau”. The best ones.

Very good food, very nice and open location ( we visited the summer terrace). Coupled with the long history of this place, you should not go to Moldova and not visit it. We especially liked the traditional moldavian dessert "alivanca" .
Highly recommend this place.

Historical place! Fair prices and accommodation. Band is playing sometimes inside. I recommend this if you want to experience an authentic romanian experience in the best way.

Authentic Romanian inn, probably the best known in the whole country from the 18th century, the best food I have ever enjoyed, the taste of traditional medieval kitchen. It also serves as an ethnographic exhibitions. The rooms are beautifully decorated according to the local habits.

It was great. The place was not crowded as we were passing by in a working day, but the food was delicious at decent price. As a plus it is a very good place, aside a museum, where the old belongings of a paysant can be explained to the kids. Also, there are a lot of local genuine products to be bought. Good job, keeping the traditions.

Beautiful interior with traditional elements. When we visited there only a few people and the service was almost perfect. We had chicken soup which was tasty and warm.

Best traditional food in area! It may take a while to order the food and get it, but you will definitely enjoy the music and the story of Ancuta. They have also a souvenir shop where you can find local traditional products as Sorbet <3 and many more.

What a lovely place the Inn has become! Last time I was there was 8 years ago and I had just rediscover it recently for my short trip from Iasi. Amazing good, good service, beautiful traditional place!
