It is a lovely place to have a family dinner of to bring a couple of fiends for a delicious Romanian traditional meal. I was amazed by the knowledge of the waiters - they had very good recommendations and live music. Thank you for a great evening!

Traditional food that simply takes you back to your grandma's. Good prices for the quality and also a great selection of wine. The place encapsulates the traditional with modern really well while maintaining its charm.

Every time I pass by Iasi this is the place that I won't miss. The food is an authentic Romanian experience. The quality price ratio is good. Strongly recommended.

Good food

Typical “crasma” in fhe very best sense of fhe word, friendly and funny waiters, but very professional, excellent food, live music, old school atmosphere, I can’t imagine adding anything to it fhat would elevate the experience, it’s exactly as it should be !

Good food and normal portions (not so big as used in Romania). Good quality and prices. Nice garden in the summer.

I remember eating here years ago with my dad on a weekend trip and I returned to experience very much the same food - you may think this is a bad thing but it’s the exact opposite. At the end of the day, if you want traditional Romania cuisine “old school” is the best choice. Great Ciorba de Burta (tripe soup) and Pastrama de Oaie (Fried Mutton Pastrami) and, to top it off, they have one of my childhood all time favourite desserts -Coltunasi cu Smantana (soft boiled pastry triangles with sour cream).
Only downside was the huge number of smokers in the outdoor dining area but not much you can do on that front apart from maybe splitting it half and half in the courtyard.

I think this is the best place to eat traditional romanian food in Iași.

I really love this authentic romanian place! Order anything from the menu, it's going to be delicious! Anytime we go to Iasi is mandatory for us to go to Bolta Rece and try something new from the menu. They never let us down.
