Plaja Sulina

Great sand (fine and clean), plenty of beach chairs and around 3 bars close to them so you don't have to walk a long time for a beer. Recommended for families with children since the water level barely reaches 1m at around 50-60m from the beach.

We had a great experience at Sulina Beach. It is a sandy beach with warm water in the summertime. You can find multiple businesses on the spot. You can order food or drinks. The beach is having umbrellas made out of reed that's standing on top of a log. The waves are quite small even if it's windy and you will have to go a long way to find deep water. It is a perfect place to spend the day with the family and a great place to bring your kids.

Nice place to tan and relax. Not so crowded.
The good:
nice sandy beaches, some areas well maintained, some left to the wilderness
Enough accommodations like chaise longs and umbrellas for shadows
Some possibilities to eat and drink
Nice shallow safe waters for the small ones
The bad
Transport: Not enough taxis or busses to come to the beach. For older kids it can be a nice 2-3km walk, but for younger ones you need transportation

Great food for a beach terrace, meat, littles, fish and fires or polenta. Cold beers served in chilled glasses is a big bonus on hot days.

This was my first beach visit in Black Sea and it was very beautiful. The water was warm and the beach is maintained clean. It’s interesting to see the small sand dune like formation under the water. Saw jelly fishes too. But heard they are not the harmful type and mostly dead when are washed off on the shore. Sunrise or sunset will be best time to visit.

Impressed! I definitely didn't expect such a nice place. Though, the local government should think to place some public toilets in the area for the tourists not to feel like in one of the previous centuries from this perspective.

Nice sandy beach a little bit far from the town (approximately 2km)

Nice beach side. Good place for children, water is shallow (0.5 - 1.25 m) for about 10 - 15 m away.
The wild beach is visited often by cows and horses, the place is not so often cleaned.

I was nicely impressed by this beach, calm and quiet. You can also find a few restaurants in the city. You could walk from Sulina to the beach, but as is might be too sunny, it would be better to take a cab; it costs 10ron (2€) one way and you'll always find a cab. There is no Uber/bolt/others, but only taxis.

A nice beach with fine sand and plenty of sunbeds. In the mid-summer can get a little crowded but is not bad.

The water is not clear, but the sand is very very nice, you can buy water or beer and you can eat here. Seats on the beach are very cheap (15 ron) 10/10 would recommend. The boat trip here from tulcea (60 ron) was awesome as well!

Definitely my favourite beach. It's clean and quiet, almost empty in week days. Lively in weekends.
