The Casino of Constanța

One of the most emblematic places in Town, you can see the bohemian style that once was here. It's nice have a walk, especially in the evening, when is not so crowded. Still can be improved a lot more with the aesthetics, lights, and remove some of the fences, but overall i find it ok. Don't miss to have a tour of the old city

For the moment the casino and the aquarium are still loading 😬. The view is awesome though and a walk nearby is pleasant.

The seafront got renovated lately and serves as one of the best walking places in Constanța, with an amazing view to thw sea and the port. Unfortunately, the Casino building is still abandoned (they said they'll work on it soon, yet no progress is seen).
Anyway, go here in the morning or after sunset to get the best of it!

Beautiful starting into the new year

Beautiful landmark. The casino is in renovation, still it is beautiful to see it from outside.

They are refurbishing it finally and it seems that thsy are doing a great job.

The casino is under reconstruction, and it looks quite good even though it seems that it will take more time to be finished.
I am sure it will be worth it, and I am also sure that great events will be hosted here!

This one was my fault. Google told me it was closed but I was thinking how can a landmark that you view from the outside be closed?? I soon found out ha! The entire building is currently covered in scaffolding and safety netting for restoration. So the bad thing about visiting now is that you can't see the lovely architecture. The good things though are that you can still enjoy the beautiful boardwalk and the proximity to so many other sites to see. You can enjoy the sun and the spectacular views of the see. If you are so inclined, for 10 lei (about $2.50USD) you can buy a picture from one of the vendors that will green screen you onto an image of the casino lol.

Beautiful walking place, great view. Currently the casino is undergoing a full restoration so in a year or two let's hope we can go inside.

I liked very much the architecture of this building. When I saw it, it gave me the feeling of great historical meaning. Wish it was reconditioned... But 5 stars from me though.

One of the most iconic buildings in Romania despite it's advanced state of decay. For safety reasons the building cannot be visited. I recommend also the magic hour timing as some photos can turn up quite fine.
