We stayed at the camping. Really loved it. Nice owners. One of the cheapest campings in Romania.
The camping is near the Roman ruins of Ulpia Traiana Sarmizegetusa, an important town in the Roman Empire.

Stayed here for a week last summer for a GPR training camp. The owner cooked us amazing breakfasts and dinners every day, gave us the local drink palinka and even shared some of her recipes with us. They were all super friendly and let us explore the grounds and they helped whenever we have an issue or question. There's a laundry area with clothing lines to do laundry, and tons of fun games in the out door eating area. The room I stayed in was large and had the best view of the valley and mountains. The bathroom was also fairly clean with a large shower, and the owner even gave us spare toilet paper! The whole mood and environment of this place is amazingly peaceful and homey. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, even the sheep! They don't speak the best of English, and I couldn't speak Romanian but they still tried their hardest to communicate with us during out stay. 13/10 would recommend. Best place I've ever been to in Romania 🇷🇴 ❤

Nice pension and campground near Retezat NP. We stayed here with caravan for 4 nights as it really was one of the best places in 3 weeks in Romania. Its a family run space with very nice hosts: grandma showed us the ground, her son explained the details and gave us information for hiking and with the youngest we arranged the paper stuff. People here speak english very well so communication was no problem. The place has everything you need for camping: warm shower, lots of electricity spots, water, a very well equiped kitchen (with possibility to hand-wash your clothes), some restaurants in a 15 minutes walk, good working and stable WIFI all over the ground and lots of nature, clean air, silence and bright stars in the (in september somewhat chilly) nights. As the infrastructure is very good its also absolutely suitable for staying here with tents. We (2 adults, caravan and electricity) payed 60 lei/night worth every Bani. What could have been better? Well sometimes we had to come back later when one of the three shower/toilet spots were occupied but if this is really a problem for you then pay some lei more and rent a room at this place. A small camping with one toilet and a bathroom in one room, with a low price for camping. Very well equipped kitchen and a nice terrace. You can also grill, play table football, ping-pong. Wifi for free.

Super friendly host family. Cooked a wonderful vegetarian meal. Pretty remote location. They also welcome campers. Can recommend.

Lovely and simple place to stay, also with the camper. Nice people, lot of space and a lot of nature around you.

Very nice and quiet atmosphere, very nice hosts. Will go back, with a larger group.

Przyjechaliśmy kamperem na 1 noc, szkoda było nam wyjeżdżać, bo kemping bardzo przyjazny.
A, w drodze powrotnej z przyjemnością zawitamy tam znowu pewnie na 1 noc, bo zostawiliśmy kawiarkę 😀

Un loc superb, încă în reabilitare și aproape de multe obiective turistice! Pentru toate gusturile, chiar și cu rulota.

Am venit din Bihor și am fost plăcut surprinși de ospitalitatea gazdelor. Am campat cu cortul in curtea pensiunii, un loc liniștit, dar și dotat cu curent electric, apă lângă cort, la câți va pași era și baia dotată și cu duș, o bucătărie dotată printre altele și cu frigidere și lada frigorifica....Un loc de relaxare pentru cei familiști. Cu siguranță vom reveni cu mult drag.🤗❤

Mały spokojny camping (nie nocowaliśmy w pokoju). Czysta łazienka z prysznicem i ciepłą wodą, wyposażona kuchnia z kuchenką, ekspresem do kawy, spora wiata dla gości, stół do bilarda. Sympatyczna gospodyni. Piękna okolica, dzwonki owiec. Na polu namiotowym 10 lej za osobę.

Bardzo ciekawe i urokliwe miejsce! Czysto, łazienka, suszarka do włosów i ręczniki w pokoju. Ogólnodostępna kuchnia. Ogromny plus za to że mogliśmy zatrzymać się tutaj z naszym psem (40kg), z którym podróżujemy :) Dziękujemy za miłą gościnę, będziemy polecać znajomym!

Este curat, animalele sunt iubitoare, peisajul este minunat, au un pret foarte bun și se merita banii.
Cea mai frumoasa pensiune la care am fost! Aceasta este părerea băiatului meu :)

Totul a fost foarte bine. Raport calitate/preț excelent. Singura nemulțumire ar fi la adresa câinilor; nu prea îți venea sa te plimbi liber prin imensa curte a pensiunii, având prin preajmă niște câini destul de agresivi.
