We only visited the museum and lake because the palace was closed but you can go in for free and see the beautiful gardens or go on top of the gate to have the perfect view of the palace
Take a walk at the gardens or across the lake or just sit and watch this beautiful place

Coming back to Mogoșoaia after so many years was not only a pleasant surprise, but also a great idea! The estate and buildings have been restored, indoors visits are possible, events and activities available. It remains one of the iconic spots for Romanian culture since the late 1600 to interwar period. If ever in Bucharest, save a day for Mogoșoaia, well worth visiting. Congrats 👏 to all those who worked on the project and continue to run the place.

One of the most beautiful places I have been in Romania. Everything was so neat, beautiful, exceptionally beautiful. And the vibe was so serene and chilled. I would totally recommend a visit. Especially to Romanians. The entire place would make you feel good. For a plethora of reasons. You'll see.

Fantastic, the architecture, the care in restoration.there we're at least 3 wedding parties there at the time. The guide we had from viking river Cruise was excellent in explaining the sad history of the family that owned it and about the tragic end at the hands of ottoman empire. Well worth the time and effort to get there.

A lovely palace & quaint museum. My favorite section is the second floor with the old antiques and historical pieces. Worth taking a walk around the garden & along the river or lake (I'm not sure which it is), the views are a delight. Keep a look out for the "Palace cats"!

Beautiful 1702 Romanian ruler’s villa in the Brâncovenesc style, also known as the Wallachian Renaissance or the Romanian Renaissance. You can park inside for 10 lei/ day, palace entrance 10 lei + another 20 lei if you want to take pictures. The park and surrounding area is free. I highly recommend taking a day to visit it so you can see the whole complex. There are events and contemporary art expos here all the time as well. The terrace/ restaurant inside the area is ok food wise but service is extremely slow, so make sure you eat ahead.

Favorite place for a quick escape from the city noise. Clean, well maintained.
Went there for a picnic on Easter day and it was not as crowded as we've expected.
Clean public toilets all around the park, a very useful facility if you're visiting with kids and want to wash hands often.
The greenery is nicely trimmed and the area around the castle is perfect for picnics, flying a kite, playing ball sports or just exploring bits of nature.

Very nice place to relax away from the city. Beautiful clean park with a lake, not many people, no problems with parking, and it is not far from Bucharest. Highly recommend visiting it.

Beautiful place! A must see for old times lovers. We had a very nice guide. She is fluent in English and French and she knows her job. She told us a lot of details about palace history and his owners. If you are hungry, they have a restaurant with good food.

A very beautiful place to visit in northwestern Bucharest away from the hustle and bustle. There's a big park nearby and some people fishing by a gas station too!

Definitely worth about 90 minutes of your time!

The grounds are free to explore. You only have to pay for the museum inside.

Beautiful area with a park that's free to walk around, and the palace itself is 10 lei to enter. It's worth the visit. Beautiful but small palace with historical artifacts and nice architecture, and an art display which is very colourful.

Unfortunately, it can be very busy. But it's still worth visiting for a nice day out.

The palace was built in 1702 AD by Constantin Brancoveanu, Prince of Wallachia. When the Ottomans seized the property, it was later purchased from the Ottomans by Prince Stefan Cantacuzino, who returned it to Brancoveanu's grandson.

It is located 10klm outside Bucharest and it has a pleasant garden and a lake.

Beautiful place to visit regardless of season. We had lots of fun during the spring. Parking is not too expensive, alternatively you can park in the neighborhood but the locals might get angry. Really great place to escape from the concrete jungle and dirty air in Bucharest.

The view is absolutely lovely, you may feel a bit tired after you walk in the palace's garden but it's very much worth it

Posted here the review for the park, since it is in the same courtyard, but popped up first as a location for reviewing:

Here I saw cranberries for the first time. (I just took one).
For me the trees seem to be here from the begining of time. I get a sense of eternity, the whole place is a poetry without words.
I think everyone can enjoy something here, either it's nature, playing, reading, studying nature, history, enjoying a meal at the restaurants or an icecream on the way, petting a cat, jogging etc.

This jewelry is not far away from the big city. A place to visit and understand the true roots of romanian civilization.

Castle is interesting, its garden however was just beautiful . It is right next to a lake and the whole place is amazing! So worth visiting. There is a parking right at the entrance.
