The food is delicious, and the portions are generous. The service may be slow because there don't seem to be enough waiters, but the wait is well worth it. The staff is super nice.

I'm giving this restaurant five stars FOR WHAT IT IS, namely a small (I assume family owned) pub serving delicious food in an unpretentious manner.

They have a very limited selection of cooked dishes, a few soups and a few main courses. They are bound to have the traditional goulash at any time so if you want to eat traditional it's a highly recommended pub.

They don't have a menu, the staff will tell you what's being cooked that day.

I had the goulash soup and the goulash with cabbage, both dishes came in huge portions and were very tasty, the soup came in a huge bowl, could have fed two hungry people. They either make their own bread or it's bought locally, regardless it's great bread.

Service is attentive and food came quickly.

Prices are on the lower end, can't believe I paid 10 euros for everything.

They do have draught beer, major plus for me.

10/10 recommended, but go with the proper expectations

The best name "As at home at your mom's" because they have the most delicious food ever served with a moms love and worry that you seem a little thin lately.
The cook is a 70+ years old lady who took care of her family for decades so be patient, the food is made right there especialy for you with the same love and care. One can't buy that so show respect.

After staying at Zabola Estate Transilvania, we got recommendations to eat here and I must say we hit the jack pot!
Staff is beyond friendly, food is very very very good!

Great food, big portions and very tasty. Low prices. From outside it looks a bit outdated, old, like 90s with the menu written by hand and other things but it's worth it, best food ever. Definetely will return. You can also take some mineral water from the water source near by this restaurant

Although the place is not fancy and cannot be easily spotted, we have had the best food while traveling through both Covasna and Harghita counties. They treat you literally like family. We have had chicken noodle soup and tripe soup, outstanding! Main course was the goulash, the real one. I highly recommend coming here for the real cuisine experience!

Outstanding local food, big portions, very ok prices, plus the host is extremely friendly and makes the "at Mamma's Place" name justice. Call ahead to make sure you get a place and there's still food left (cooked daily). You want an experience in terms of cuisine, this is a must. Would return 100%.

AMAZING! The place is not fancy, but it's traditional and clean. The food is great. They have a daily menu that is cheap and absolutely delicious. The Mom gave us 2 starters with many degrees and she is very welcoming. I totally recommend this place.

If you want to eat something really tasty (and prepared in a way like your grandmother do it), this is the place that you are looking for.
Contra: when there is live music (usually on friday night and saturday night), it is too loud, you can't hear when the other persons at the same table with you are saying something. You can talk with the others only when the musician takes a break.
