Mănăstirea Sihăstria Rarăului

The road to the monastery it is new, with asphalt, they are still working to arrange the margins. But be carefully because there is a triple "S" bend, somewhere very close on the way to the monastery where I think the road is in an 20° angle climb and with 3 very sharp curves (180°).

You can park near the monastery. The view is beautiful and you can meditate in silence. The monastery is very, very beautiful. There is no entrance fee. If you want you can eat with the people of the monastery, of course if you arrive there during one of the meals.

There is a souvenirs shop, where you can buy religious items.

Deserve to visit this monastery.

A very nice Monastery situated in the heart of the forest. Is a very nice scenery there. If you want a peaceful place to stay, to reconsider about life is a perfect spot. You can easily hike to Rarau mountain or to ski in winter. Near the Monasyery is the a new slope.

Rarau Monastery is an Orthodox monastery of monks in Romania, founded by the ruler Petru Rareș, in 1538.According to tradition, here was a hamlet established by the scholar Sisoe, towards the end of the fifteenth century. It is also said that after 1538, when Petru Rareș was changed from his reign, his wife, Elena, together with the children, hid in Rarau, being protected by monks. As a thank you, the voivodship erected a church instead of the old one and thus the Rarau hermitage was created, in the former Dodu cloister.

Очень тихое местечко. Людей практически нет. Везде очень чисто. Парковка небольшая прямо на территории монастыря. Есть родник с ключевой водой.

In inima muntilor, in mijlocul padurii de brazi drepti si vigurosi se ridica o manastire plina de har si liniste unde poti sa-ti potolesti setea cu apa izvorata direct din munte si sa mergi mai departe....

Un locaș de cult superb, unde voi reveni cu drag !
Drumul foarte bun ,asfaltat , de la Câmpulung Moldovenesc -Transrarau .

Un loc deosebit, unde energiile pozitive, liniștea și credința oamenilor care vin aici sunt înălțătoare pt suflet. Mănăstirea este foarte frumoasă, totul este nou, foarte curat, cu multă verdeață, pădure de jur împrejurul, multe flori. Se ajunge pe drumul de la intrarea în Câmpulung. Drumul e bun și pe o porțiune chiar foarte bun. Din păcate parcarea din apropierea mănăstirii este insuficientă în zilele de sărbătoare când la mănăstire ajung foarte mulți credincioși. Am încercat inițial să ajungem la mănăstire de pe Rarău, mai jos de hotel Alpin, dar am văzut că este indicator de sens interzis.

O oaza de liniste si frumusete inconjurata de o padure superba. Drumul destul de dificil porneste din Câmpulung Moldovenesc insa este cumva... in lucru. O alta optine ar fi drumul forestier care pleaca din Trans-Rarau, in apropiere de Hotel Alpin-Rarau. Se poate ajunge din ambele directii si cu masina cu garda mai joasa. Manastirea este inconjurata de padure si de daruirea calugarilor care au creeat un colt de rai. Biserica deosebit de frumos pictata si intretinuta.
