El Café de Acá

We had a great time in Cafe the Acá.

We went around 11 am on a Sunday and there were some empty tables inside. We ordered the Paraguayan brunch and the breakfast burrito.

The portions were large and the food was surprisingly tasty. The restaurant has a very nice vibe and the workers were overall friendly.

It seems like the place can get pretty busy so I would allocate time for this.

Loved it a lot. To work with your laptop and business meeting, inspiring place, lots of trees and retro design. A bit pricey (very strong good coffee). I’ve tried for first time Tereré

The products have a nice taste. Their service staff is friendly and welcoming. The toilet has been clean. Nice atmosphere inside the store. I saw that they have also a nice garden.

I love the outdoor part of this café... sitting under the trees and the sound of water of the little fountain feels like an escape from the city. Food is delicious no matter what you order. When it's crowded, you might wait a little longer for the food, but it's worth it...
One downside of my last visit: my hot beverage was NOT hot..
Otherwise, my favorite Cafe in Asunción! ♡

This was a very good cafe offering a number of special treats. The history is worth researching. It was a family space that was converted over time.
The service can be a little slow though that did not take away from this experience that’s not one to miss whilst in Asunción.
I went several times over 3 days and even at 9pm to have a nice panoply of different flavoured empanadas! The local chopp (draft beer) is also very special and has a well- rounded salty-sweetness to it. They have made good use of lighting and a warm rustic decor. Thanks !

This was my favourite spot in Asuncion— went three times. Really good (and strong) tereré, excellent breakfasts as well as lunch/dinner. Very popular place on weekends go get there early or be prepared to wait a bit.

Great introduction to Terere if you don't have your own thermos yet. Food is delicious, the outdoor seating area is very relaxing (with birds singing and the smell of street oranges) and the staff is nice. You may want to make a reservation during rush hours.

Longtime visitor to Asunción and first time eating at this restaurant. The lomito sandwich with egg and chicken empanada were delicious. The photo doesn’t really show how complex the chicken filling really is. The lomito was perfect. There was a line but I got a seat right away at the bar. My waiter Isaac was attentive and very courteous. Look forward to coming back and trying their breakfast menu.

great selection of cocktails, coffees, and mate drinks (ie terere). great ambiance, love the late hours -> perfect place to catch up on work or meet up w/ people.

Found this beautiful place accidentally and totally fell in love the moment I entered.
On a rainy day, what better than a perfect Latte (it's actually the best I had so far in Asunción) and a delicious Quinoa salad.
Spread the word, it's a must visit coffee place.
Wondering how It Will be On a sunny day in the garden. We can't wait.

A lot of varieties!!! Great place to have a good talk with a friend! Loved this place and the coffee is really good! Will come back... inexpensive, so i think i go by 5 stars to this place and its just wonderfull 😍 decorations are perfect and all the cakes are great!! And don’t make me start with the sandwiches and burgers!! The place is so clean and tidy!!

This place is simply amazing and the food is much beyond expectations.

The restaurant has a very nice bakery as well and serves a large variety of food items and sweets. Sitting outside under the trees in the patio is wonderful while a fan is blowing, water fountain running and nice music flowing from the speakers. I will come here every day during my visit to try the various dishes.

Great place with an awesome selection but a little pricey

If you are in the city, you must go to Cafe de Aca. Just a jem, almost worth a trip to Paraquay.
