Short loop trail, but well worth doing. Full of nice stops, and with easy access from the village of Monsanto.

We completed the walk clockwise, going through Penedos Juntos, walking up to the ruins of Capela de São Miguel and Capela de São João, through the medieval castle, and back by Taverna Lusitana (closed that day), Miradouro do Forno (great views, specially at sunset) and to the starting point.
