Really nice walks in this area. Quiet and peaceful. Great for dog walking. You can see traditional old buildings and it's nice to walk along the river.

Lovely quiet place, loads of birds to watch, a garden within nature. Paradise.

When we stopped by, it was rather misty (mid Sep). We stopped the car on the side of the road and went up the hill to have a peak at the estuary. What a beautiful landscape. We walked a little bit making sure not to damage plants. We were hoping to see any special birds, but we didn't. We stayed quiet high up as we thought the lower part could be quite swampy. Overall, a beautiful place, peaceful but not a place to stay longer than 30 mins. The other side of the road was also beautiful but we didn't go there. That would have led us to a beach (if any) on the western coast of the peninsula.

Absolutely lovely birding place. Nice walks, easy access to the water and plenty water birds, so as flamingos,

Mondays all the buildings are closed which includes the restrooms. We still enjoyed walking the paths.

A must-visit in Setúbal. One can enjoy the variety of birds in the estuary as well as the cycle of the bottlenose dolphins during the seasons. Be amazed with the view and the activities that can be done within the estuary. Best if one can bring personal binoculars for observing.

Amazing beautiful estuary, many birds including flamingos. Take a boat tour at the Moinho Marisco to enjoy all.
