Can't fault this restaurant. The food was superb and came out very quickly. The service is great, lovely attentive staff. Fantastic value for money. House wine is good. Only reason I gave 3 stars for atmosphere was because we went early so we're first or second people eating so atmosphere not exactly buzzing, but we didn't mind that. Would definitely eat there again. 👌😁

Try the pork secrets, oh my god they are amazing. Great staff, amazing food. Best in town for Portuguese food.

Delicious meal (queixada do porco), meltingly tender, hand cut chips, lovely , kind attentive waitress. Meal swiftly served. Very good value for money. We will definitely return for another lunch. Thank you all at A Cave.

Great place with a Tiny Frontage. Goes back a long way in this Very Hilly and beautiful town. We went on 23rd and 24th December so a great atmosphere all around Penamacor which at midnight on the 23rd Dec was lit outside of the Church ,(called locally the Pisa of Penamacor ), the Largest bonfire in Portugal
Maybe Europe too. It's huge with some of the largest tree trunks I have ever seen. These are given by the Boys of 2002 who , as they are now Men of 20years have to collect them from their or their fathers land.
We Motor homed it for 2 nights in the Central Huge Car park

Anyone stopping in on Penamacor should really consider going for a meal here. Servicd is quick, efficient and friendly. The food is excellent And well priced. One of our favorite places to eat.

Have been in in my travel and what can I say. Really really affordable menus for lots of food. But not just food. Good soul food, the one that is warm and reminds you off home.

Cosy and traditional restaurant in the centre of Penamacor, run by the Chef Cristina Moiteiro and her family, traditional delicious portuguese dishes, very afordable, amazing portions made from local produts.

Delicious, simple down-home cooking. Very tasty lunch stop.

Restaurante económico, com menu completo a 8.5 euros com couvert, sopa, prato, bebida, sobremesa e café. O espaço é simples, mas a confecção e o atendimento são excelentes. Sabem gerir bem a expectativas do cliente, não o deixando desiludir-se. Serve-se com simpatia.

Um espaço simples e ambiente familiar. A comida é boa, saborosa e é servida em doses generosas e acompanhadas de grande simpatia por parte dos colaboradores. Estive de passagem por Penamacor com a minha família e fomos muito bem recebidos neste restaurante. A empatia connosco, a sinceridade, as sugestões genuínas...tudo bom. E no final um preço simpático!
