Best local food around. Family business with difference. The food is to die for and we love it here. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Family style dining with shared tables. Food is simple and delicious. Must arrive before or after lunch time or prepare to wait; there is a lot of seating but it fills up very quickly. Worth the wait, the food is amazing.

If you’re on a tour of Portugal and are looking for a place off the beaten path where locals go, then this is it! Simple, canteen style with excellent bacalau and meat dishes served with home-made wine and bread that we would call “artisanal” back in the states. Here they simply call it Pão. Just like the food, it’s simply prepared but you feel like it should be Michelin rated since it satisfies and leaves nothing else to be desired. Except perhaps for some dessert at the end, which you guessed it, is homemade. They don’t accept bank cards so bring cash. You won’t need a wallet full as the prices are certainly budget friendly. Go here you won’t regret it!

Excellent local restaurant. Good traditional Portuguese dishes, well served and one plate can serve 2 people, what make this place even more attractive. Nice staff and price/quality. PLEASE try the bread 💪🏻

All daily menus € 10 including bread and butter, dessert and coffee. Big portion. Very friendly staff.

It ain't pretty nor quiet but it's extraordinarily good and cheap. Recommendations: bacalhau and their broad (homemade bread)

O verdadeiro tasco com comida de qualidade. Ementa, como dizia o meu pai, descrita "numa folha de couve" Ambiente antiquado mas acolhedor. Os proprietários sempre simpáticos. Pão de milho caseiro e ainda quentinho. Bacalhau com batatas a murro impecáveis. A voltar sem dúvida. Ir cedo senão tem horas de espera.

Vale muito apena ,desde a broa quentinha ao bacalhau com batata a murro, desfiado ou em posta . Tudo bem confecionado e doses generosas, pessoal super atencioso.

O bacalhau a casa é excepcional, o vinho da casa também, o pão então ... Deus quase me estraga o jantar porque nao consegui parar de comer o pão.
Resultado, o jantar foi tão bom, que rodamos mais 20km no dia seguinte para almoçar no mesmo local.
