We had a dinner here once while visiting Porto. The restaurant is fine dining, we enjoyed the ambiance, food and wine choices. amazing view of Porto. The food is fantastic and somelier suggested great wines to pair with our food. Great service.
Highly recommend.

Was a little apprehensive as I saw some negative reviews but overall I enjoyed the experience.

The bread basket was a healthy amount of bread (not " two pieces") with some very high quality olive oil and basalmic vinegar. I don't normally like olive bread but these two paired very well together.

The tasting menu with wine pairing also came together beautifully. Waiter explained courses well and pacing was good. I finished my meal (admittedly as solo which meant relatively quickly) in 1.5 hours but didn't feel rushed at all.

The price, service, view, and location I all thought were good. Would recommend to others without hesitation. Especially if you want to try the restaurant associated with such a famous Port house.

Lovely setting, with incredible food. The Alheira starter was a case study in umami! The restaurant is very willing to accommodate a toddler despite being quite high end, with a great kids menus.

Incredible meal! Everything was beautifully presented and the view is just gorgeous. We did not do the tasting menu as we wanted to try specific items. The beef tartare is a must (and that’s coming from someone who usually doesn’t prefer it!) Of course this meal is pricier than most, but worth it in my opinion. The sommelier is really helpful and helped us pick out wonderful glasses.

Was a wonderful experience! After a very nice visit in Taylor’s museum together with wine tasting, we finished our session in the restaurant, where the service and food were excellent. Our teens were very happy with the staff and their hospitality. It’s so nice to see that the kids are getting also attention.
I recommend the place not just for the food quality and services, the view is also spectacular!

Amazing restaurant. Worth it just for the panoramic views of Porto itself but the food was excellent as well. Duck breast was one of the best dishes we had all trip as was the tartare. Delicious food with Michelin level presentation, good wine select with friendly sommelier. Very reasonable prices. Well worth the trip across the Douro. Entrance a little tricky to find, follow the signs

Manager, servers, sommelier were absolutely fabulous. Professional, knowledgeable, passionate about their product and business. One of the top experiences we’ve had! Can’t recommend more highly!

After the Taylor tour, we visited here. Good service and amazing foods!! We had the octopus, salted cod, and banana for the desert. The octopus and cod were amazing! So soft and great taste! Also reasonable prices! We were so happy to celebrate our wedding anniversary here.

Extraordinary kitchen, dishes are original, top quality, carefully presented on the plate. The house wines (ports) go very well with designated dishes, the bread for amuse bouche is baked in the house, waiter comes with a nice tray for you to choose the ones you like. Service makes the whole experience perfectly complimented. The ratio price vs overall experience is very good. We took the menu with wines (54e) and we had one of the best restsurant experiences ever. Coffee in the end comes with 2 little pasteis de nata. Perfect ending of the evening with the view.

One of the best meals in my life. Beautiful decor and setting. The food presentation was like art and absolutely delicious. The staff was extremely friendly.

A restaurant where you can be delighted by the view of this beautiful city, be spoiled by the attentive staff who has an extensive wine knowledge and taste the imagination made real on each intricate and stunning dish prepared to perfection (definitely try the octopus).
We were pleasantly surprised by the menu and wine suggestions, all the colours and textures on all courses we enjoyed but also great value for money.

The view is fantastic, the food is amazing, and the service was phenomenal! We appreciated the sommelier at the table to make (fantastic) recommendations. The prices are on the higher end for Porto but very reasonable for the high level of service and quality of food. Could not recommend enough!

Tasty haute cuisine with great service. The porto wine pairing is a great suggestion. The view from the restaurant over the skyline of Porto makes this restaurant unique.

Had a delicious lunch at Barão Fladgate following the Taylor Fladgate tour. The view from the restaurant was beautiful and the atmosphere very calm and high-end. The wait staff were very helpful and kind. The somm helped us select some delicious wines to accompany dinner (being unfamiliar with the local grapes) and the dessert and accompanying port was excellent

Lovely setting and views, great service, very good food. Both our waiter and the sommelier were lovely as well as professional. The food is also very well presented and ingredients are fresh, good quality seafood and meat in dishes we tried. Good wine list. Coffee on the terrace after lunch rounded off a lovely meal.

Excellent service, excellent menu, excellent food, and excellent port! This is a little off the main tourist route along the river, but highly worth the diversion for an excellent dining experience at a reasonable price considering the high quality.

Could not thank enough the amazing experience we had at the Barao Fladgate.The amazing food, the top notch service, the wine, nothing failed. If you are looking for a place to have a nice dinner with one of the best views from the city, this is the place.
