We had an amazing dinner at this place which was recommended by random ladies on the street.
Food was amazing. We had bread, olives, posta with potatoes, salad and 2 desserts. The Posta was incredibly tender. Dessert (rice pudding and almond tarte) also super delicious.
Service was friendly. The dishes came quick.
Prices are fair. We would definitely come back! Great place

We spend one month in Portugal and this restaurant had the best food in store for us. We took the recommendation of the waiter, who was very confident recommending us the seasonal dishes. What a great experience: good wine, food, service. All high quality products. The waiter also informed us that all work for wine production is done by hand in the fields due to the steepness of the hills where the vineyards are located. We did appreciate the wine from Douro valley even more after that! Strongly recommend this restaurant if you are up for traditional, healthy Portuguese food.

Tiago our waiter provided best service possible! The Veal loaves rare melted in our mouths and the 10 year old Tawny dessert wine with Almond Pie was exquisite! Don't miss this off the grid restaurant! Phenomenal quality

This is the exact type of restaurant we want to find on our travels! Amazing food (like seriously I could eat that veal every day), and a super welcoming service. We are travelling from New Zealand, so it was very helpful for us that we were able to communicate in English. Would come here all the time, and hope to come back in the future 😊

Great food, wine and service. Family style meal, traditional Portuguese. This is a bit out of the way, but well worth the trip.

Nice service. Servers were attentious and quick. We ordered Posta Mirandesa following their recommendation and the meat was tasty and well prepared. It was accompanied with potatoes also charred in the grill. Very nice. For desert, we ordered Molotov pudding and their speciality: Almond Pie. It was a great surprise.

We had a beautiful lunch here having driven from Oporto. The host Antonio was very helpful in suggesting what to choose .He recommended we share as the portions were very generous.He complimented our food with an excellent local wine .He then very generously provided us with his grandfather's vintage port to accompany our equally delicious dessert.A memorable day in the Douro Valley.

So many years, that i know this place. And i've never been dispointed. Very good portuguese food. Best grilled chicken with spicy sauce and grilled by old wood of the grapeyards!!!

The speciality of the house the Poste (meat) is recomended and it is worth it! Price Quality is very good and the personnel is very friendly and professional.
