O Sacas

I felt a special atmosphere right after entering the restaurant. Everybody already in was having a mellow discussion and seemed more than satisfied. I ordered drinks from a charming waiter. After researching their menu I had quite a few questions I got very knowledgeable answers. Unfortunately many fish portions required preparation for two persons. I settled for octopus stew, which was delicious. This was such a pleasant and somehow a warm experience that I will need to go back for proper dinner with my wife.

We had a great dining experience sitting in the sun at this restaurant on the coast, overlooking the sea.

Really tasty food! The starters are quite substantial, we had octopus stew and fresh fish of the day (sea bream) served whole. We enjoyed the regional house wine also.

We had a wonderful experience here at O Sacas. The location is absolutely stunning. Make sure you time your reservation with the beautiful sunset. We also took a small dog with us and the staff were wonderful.

The food was amazing. I had the feijoada de búzios. Was delicious. My wife had the filets de peixe with tomato migas.

I am still imagining this wonderful meal, remembering how we devoured the fresh clams or warm octopus salad, the black pork stew, the excellent local wine. Wonderfully warm and funny staff - we came when we stayed at Lua Nua Guesthouse. We will be back. If you’re visiting the region, plan an evening around this restaurant in Zambujeira, watch the sunset and dine at one of the most splendid restaurants you will ever encounter.
