Cipreia Dive Club Sesimbra

AMAZING experience! If you are looking for a place to dive in Portugal look no further. From the moment I arrived until the movement I left, this team was focused on making sure I had a good experience. And that was no easy feat. Despite my certifications and prior dives, I had an unexpected reaction to the colder environment and began to have serious anxiety. They kindly helped me through it, made sure I felt safe, and encouraged me to stick with the second dive. We went to an easier location and they were so positive, patient, understanding, and most of all attentive. It took me a while to get my mind right after I got scared but by the end I had a full dive, learned a lot, and a wonderful time, all thanks to the fantastic guide team. You will see lots of biodiversity in these areas, many species you will not come across in warmer waters. I learned that if you have never attempted to dive in cold waters, even if you aren’t nervous, start shallow! I definitely hope to return some day. Highly recommend this dive center.

I made my first diving here and was great and amazing experience! Instructor was wonderful and made me feel so safe that I enjoyed my journey.

During my one week vacation I spent several days diving with Cipreia and had a wonderful time.
We went to diffenrent dive sites and saw a lot of different species and a even a ship wreck. If you are in the area and interested in diving, Cipreia in Sesimbra is the place to be. All stuff members are really nice people, very welcoming and supportive. For me it felt like I came as a stranger but left as friends.
I definitely will come back and dive with them again in the future. Thank you so much Ricardo, Samuca, Leonor, Pedro, Manuel, Maria and Tiziana for having me and being always kind and wonderful people. I am looking forward to dive with you soon.

Had a great time diving with Cipreia. I went for my Refresher course and was very happy with the course and the re-certification process. Definitely will come back when in Portugal again.

Excellent experience on Advance Course with this diving school, the Instructor’s were patience, knowledgeable and informative. I learned a lot on my two day course and enjoyed my time there. I found all the staff very helpful and friendly. I fully recommend this diving school to anyone wanting to learn to dive or adventure dive 👍👍👍👍👍.

Exceptional diving experience and wonderful instructor team.

We had an amazing time diving with Cipreia for three days with my partner in March 2023. Pedro, Ricardo and Leonor were very professional and pleasant to dive with, and got us our diving certificates. They kindly adapted to our constrained schedule and were very reactive before and during the trip. Beautiful shipwrecks to visit in Sesimbra. The diving equipment was recent and well maintained/safe. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Sesimbra or even to Lisbon !

Great Dive Centre, real friendly, enthusiastic and inclusive staff going to any lengths for your comfort and safety. Awesome dive sites around Sesimbra. And if you're lucky they'll sing to you throughout your dive! Just dive there!

Had an amazing experience trying scuba diving for my first time! The instructors and staff are so friendly, it feels like diving with friends rather than a dive club! The dive equipment is well-maintained. Shower rooms are available. Facility available for capturing GoPro photos and videos underwater for a small extra charge. The instructors are very professional when it comes to theory lessons and also accompany you underwater to keep you safe! Would definitely recommend this dive club for anybody visiting Portugal!

Would totally come back. Great guides, professional and very into the game. Nice spots with a surprising number of Octopuses and more exotic species like (I think it was) a flying gurnard. See you next year.

I visited Dive Club Cipreia to introduce my father to SCUBA and to get a taste of open water diving in Portugal, and the atmosphere, attention to individuals and experience were unforgettable. The boat trip to our site was amazing, the site itself was guided carefully by instructors so that each participant would get to see the array of wildlife and points of interest dotted around. On that day, many people were converted to SCUBA as a result of the team’s incredible service and a wonderful day out. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Three staff here was so accommodating and the facilities are super nice! I was here too do a sidemount course and Ricardo and his team took really great care of me. Not only was the teaching very competent, patient, and tailored to my experience and interests, everything was made extremely easy so that i could focus completely on the course and the diving. I really appreciated the way they worked around my schedule and if I'm ever in the area again i definitely plan on coming back for a few dives.

Amazing experience of scuba diving with experimented and really nice people. I strongly recommend them for their reliability and skills, wetter you're a perfect beginner or already experienced.

I had 2 days of boat dives (4 dives) with them. I'm very satisfied. Everything was excellent, and the crew was super nice. And the boat is next to the dive center.

Great club for diving!! Very professionals. Our guide Pedro was always taking care of us and helping any time we needed it. Very focused on looking for things to see and showing them to us. We're are grateful!!!

I have never dove before, but I had such a great experience getting my basic diver certification that I am sure to do it again. The people who work and dive in the shop are fantastic and friendly.

Nice staff. Took me in with a days notice - when an other dive shop cancelled on me, because I was diving outside of peak season.
