Enigma - Hamburgueria Artesanal - Batalha

This was an amazing experience from the moment we walked in the door. The menu (which is incredibly varied!) was described to us in detail by a very caring employee, and when the food arrived... What a burger! Highly recommended if you're into artisanal burger joints! The atmosphere was great and we sat at a table with a beautiful view of the Monastery, lit up in the night.
Knowing there's other locations in Tomar and Fátima makes those trips easier to plan... We already know where we're going for lunch!

Good selection of burgers, fast and pleasant service

Our favourite restaurant in Batalha! We came here twice on our trip - first with our family, and then as a date. Both times, the service was excellent and the food was exceptionally delicious. They make their burgers fresh, and the garlic aioli is to die for. They can do no bread if you wish and also chicken or vegetarian burgers for most options. I highly recommend the apple crumble with ice cream for dessert!! Make a reservation if you’re going on the weekend because they do get quite busy.

Very tasty!! A good restaurant that delivers what they advertise themselves to be. We chose chicken burgers to give the cows a night off. Burger with salad was enough. My wife had a burger and fries... see their website for details and translations as needed.

Nice comfortable atmosphere. Really good burgers, good fríes. I had sweet potato fríes which we're fresh and crispy. We got there at 2:45 and they had no problem serving us lunch. João was very hospitales and chatted for a while in very good English(if that is a concern for you). We'll be back!

Went for Saturday lunch for two. would definitely crave this place and return regularly if I was a local.

Friendly server who spoke Portuguese, Spanish and English.
Tastiest: Wedge potato fries and sauce
Great: cheese that came with the Doritos-like nachos, enigma burger and the burger right below the Enigma (starts with an A)
Lots of natural light
Close proximity to Monastery

Large portions - wished the two of us had split a burger and fries or skipped the nachos
In a smallish mall

Cons:

We stopped by at Enigma for a quick lunch. The burgers we had were very tasty and we could tell that the guys working there love their job. Well done!
