Restaurante O Comercial - Palácio da Bolsa

We booked for lunch and were delighted with this restaurant. Located in the Bolsa Palace it's a great setting. There is a set menu at lunch or a l'carte. Our dishes were lovely, very well presented and you could tell they were freshly prepared. Service was very good and well paced. A great experience!

Although situated inside the Palacio da Bolsa, you can visit the restaurant separately (enter through the Bolsa exit to avoid pushing your way through the queue, and go to the roped entrance). The dining room is elegant and spacious, the food and drinks excellent (margarita and mushroom risotto), and the waiters lovely. A nice treat in the middle of a busy sightseeing day.

The food here is delicious. Our meal followed a tour of the palace which was well worth the time spent.

This restaurant is really a perfect restaurant with a palace vibe. It is located inside the Palacio da Bolsa, it is very intimate, quiet, I love the vibe! The service was amazing as well, the price was excellent. We took the Executive Set Menu of 3 course with wine, it was super good! We started with the cheese bread-ish, I forgot the name with a big portion of it, and then I had the risotto with octopus which was really good and comforting, and the dessert was my favourite, citron merinque with fruit sauce, the best! I would love to go back there when I re-visit Porto for sure!!

We had a lovely lunch at Restaurante O Comercial in the Palácio de Bolsa, the famous palace and Porto chamber of commerce on a Saturday. It is a historic setting we had seen while visiting and not easy to get a booking. We began with fois gras, then my wife had the duck confit while I had the fillet mignon. For dessert we had the apple crumble and caramel petite gâteau. We had an excellent Alentejo red wine, the Olho de Mocho Reserva, and with the dessert a 20 year old tawny port. Service was stellar from Carmelo. We had a window table on a sunny day. We plan to return. On Saturday if you tour the palace, you can save your tickets with the QR code and get 30% off if ordering ala carte. No discount on the €20 M-F special that includes a starter, a main, a dessert, water, a glass of wine and bread. It is an excellent lunch in a historic setting.

The restaurant is located inside the Palácio da Bolsa, which is an impressive building. Due to the ongoing Covid restrictions, there is a temperature control before entering the restaurant. The dining room is beautiful and lushly furnished. The view from the window seats is pleasant. At lunchtime, a 3 course set menu with wine and water is offered for 19€ which is a very good price for the surroundings and quality of food and service. Portions are quite big. The food is tasty. Service is professional. Definitely worth visiting.

Great experience, really nice food mixed with traditional Portuguese dish & modern touch. A little bit pricey. This restaurant is located in one of the oldest emblematic buildings in the city of Porto, the "Palácio da Bolsa" xD

Fantastic fine dining in an amazing location: the old stock exchange Palace. The building adds to the elegant setting of the restaurant. The service is professional and friendly. Food is in the mid price range, beautifully presented and very tasty. All covid precautions are taken to guarantee your safety. Reservations are essential for this highly recommended restaurant.

All tasty with smooth jazz and amazing view. Carppaccio was well seasoned. Duck was succulent with generous side dishes. Best way to end the dinner is suspirrom 😊 highly recommended

Had a great time in this wonderful place with extremely courteous, professional personnel and magnificent food. The kitchen serves portoguese dishes with a modern touch. We enjoyed a delicious set menu at a very reasonable price and very good local wines.

Best restaurant in Porto I have been to! I had tuna tartar for appertizer and scallops for main, so good.

We whent for dinner with high expectations and they were met!!

We chose the tuna steak and the scallops with the shrimp rissotto and it was fenomenal! The service was spot on and the room? Stunning!

Amazing restaurant and atmosphere in a historic building in Porto.

Situated near Duoro River, this restaurant resides within Commercial Chamber Palace. Fantastic decoration, 19th century building. Food is even more better. Super reasonable set menu price and good selection of local wine.

It was absolutely unforgettable experience! Food! Service! Atmosphere! Everything was absolute satisfaction! Food amazing! Staff friendly and polite! Diamond service and food!

Amazing, €23 lunch prix fixe which rocked, possibly the best value posh lunch ever.

Must try if you’re in Porto for dinner. The ambiance, service, and most importantly the food, were incredible. Total foodgasm! ;) It was difficult to decide on a favorite dish but the Black Pudding Crepe wins.
