Lamassa Fresh Handmade Pasta

We recently spent a few nights in Estoril and found this gem of a restaurant there. It is on a side so, a little hard to find but well worth the effort. The food was so fresh and beautifully presented. Small, intimate dining room. Lovely service.

Pasta 🍝 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They do not have many from which to choose but all are great! I took the carbonara and was very good! No cream in it 😍

Food 🍽 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Among the menu the best from which to choose was surely the pasta but also the other plates were great! If you haven't tried the tagliere of cold cuts is surely worthy 🙌

Service 👥 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ All the people inside were lovely! Friendly and most were Italians 🥹

Atmosphere 🛋 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ They do not have many seats but you should be able to find the space. The restaurant is welcoming tho, with nice furniture and almost an open kitchen.

We have come here twice and both times we have had a really great experience.

The service has definitely been perfect, helpful, and welcoming.

The shrimp tartare I ate was simply divine!

If you want to try an authentic Italian restaurant in Estoril, you should come here!

As I write this review we have 25 minutes to wait until our table is ready for our second visit to this establishment, and my tastbuds are tingling...
Got to rate this as one of my top 5 pasta 😋 dishes ever and I have been on planet earth a long time. So apologies to my many Italian friends but this was special. If you are in Estoril don't be put off by its location and you may need to book a table. Enjoy.. I know I did and will...Now only 10 minutes to wait ✋ 😊 🙂

Amazing homemade pasta and dessert.
I ordered OXTAIL and it was one of the best I have ever had. Also the dessert was very good.
We would love to come back to try other plates soon.

This restaurant has better pasta then the Italian country. It's strange but I have seen more then 20 places in Italy and this one in Portugal has better pasta then the 20 ones I have seen in Italy. Try it out.

This a very tiny restaurant that only has home made pasta on the menu. Right when you enter, you see a fresh pasta waiting to be used which turns things more authentic right away. The restaurant is very very small so make sure you make your reservation 1 or 2 weeks in advance. In terms of experience, I had a wonderful one and really advise to go to the dishes of the day because they re usually more fresh and if the staff is suggesting something, I believe it will be probably the best option in that day.
Really recommend this restaurant if you really want to dive a bit into the Italian culture and also if you want to have a very quality and quiet dinner/lunch.

This little place, which makes its own pasta, is NOT a fancy fine dining establishment. It is however an excellent, low key, local restaurant that specializes in excellent authentic Italian food. While visiting Estoril we went two nights in a row we loved it that much. And I loved the pesto so much I had it both nights. The bruschetta is excellent, as is any dish they make with truffles. In fact this is some of the best Italian food we’ve ever had. The prices and service are excellent. Book in advance, its very small and you’ll be lucky to get a table at the time you want. Again, it’s low key, not fancy, with great food.

Well... this a real little gem of a restaurant. Lamassa is a genuine family run, authentic Italian restaurant. The main dishes are primarily pasta based in variety of sauces of seafood, meat and tomato base. Although there are a number of items on the menu the fresh pasta is 100% home made and is probably the best in the local area and perhaps in the wider Lisbon area. The dining area is small and cosy, with limited seating but may be extended in the near future. Would highly recommend booking to ensure a table. Wine pairing is superb. The restaurant is run by a husband and wife team and the high quality of the food is a real output of the hard work and dedication to serve excellent food. Prices are very reasonable and extremely good value for money. The desserts are also home made, the pistachio cheesecake was amazing. I had the Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli which is shown in the pictures. Well done to Pedro and Romina for establishing one of the best Italian eateries. Best of luck for success and future plans.

Delicious pasta. The gnocchetti al pesto and spinach and ricotta ravioli were both incredible! We also got the tiramisu and pistachio cheesecake and both were delicious

Best pasta and service! My stomach is very satisfied! I had a dish of the day (spaghetti with cheek and pistachios) and very much looking forward to my desert that I opted to take away…bruschetta was also very tasty, but best to share it, as it’s quite a lot (6 x half slices) with 3 different toppings.

Food...was amazing and the dessert was out of this world good. The tiramisu is a ...must...!

Fantastic Italian restaurant . Sober decor but solid hand made fresh pasta , excellent desserts including pistachio cheesecake and lemon and mint tart. Great wine list. Walk in lunch but better to book for dinner as it is a relatively small 10 tables, cosy restaurant. You can also take the fresh pasta home and impress your party. Enjoy !

Amazing food that is so flavorful and pretty to look at! I can’t recommend just one thing because all three of the entrees we ordered were spectacular. The desserts were even better…

Was recommended this place by friends to whom I receommended the Estoril/Cascais area for a mini-moon. Loved everything about it. The staff were friendly and funny and the food was absolutely delicious. I deliberately got a starter I'd never had before - veal carpaccio in tuna sauce - and it was delicious. The pappardelle was incredible. So light and fresh and with a mushroom sauce that the perfect accompaniment. Got half a bottle of house wine and it too was absolutely delicious. Place was full on a Tuesday evening and the takeaway service - a hangover from covid - was hopping. I'd happily try anything on their menu.

Beautiful atmosphere and great dishes. This little restaurant in the heart of Estoril brings Italy to our streets with a touch of elegance. The pastas are all made fresh and the menu keeps changing regularly but always keeping the menu favourites available for those loyal customers. My favourite dish is the Pappardelle funghi e tartufo.
