Restaurante Costa do Sol

Service was great, very warm and welcoming! No English menu (just take a picture and use google translate). The island sausage and cheese balls were amazing as appetizers. Hamburger and pork loin were fantastic!! The atmosphere is lively and warm! Everything was reasonably priced

Great portions, amazing service, taste is excellent.

I had bread, olives, cheese, and honey for an appetizer, and had the house steak with an egg. I particularly liked the olives, and the fries were actually crispy, which I've found hard to come by in the Azores. The steak was also good, and I enjoyed the green wine, and an espresso after my meal.

Waitress spoke a little English, and she can bring another gentleman who speaks more. You can also point and talk easily, or find a picture of something that looks good on Google and point to it, so don't let the language barrier stop you! This is a great place to eat.

This place just had an extra area added. It looks very fancy from the older side. I would dress up at least with jeans and a nice shirt. I went here twice because the food is really good and there aren't that many places to eat. Service was good. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants on this island. The house burger is the bomb.

Eat the authentic food of the island amongst locals. The dishes are very varied and local, the winter garden extension very cosy and the team is very friendly. All in all, an absolute must. The only negative is that if you do not speak Portuguese, the conversation will be hard, but that’s true of the entire island. Be prepared and honestly, I think that’s on visitors to better.

We had a great time at Costa do Sol Restaurant, the food was delicious, the service wonderful, the proprietors take pride in the quality and atmosphere of their restaurant. We are going again tomorrow!!

Provei a linguiça que era ótima, e o peixe porco que também estava maravilhoso, muito suculento e cheio de sabor (as batatas com alho são excecionais)!
